You guys ever been invited to weddings where the gift list is just cash for honeymoon/new house? Now people are getting married older or more than once, have been to plenty where it's "we have everything we want, but here's a selection of charities you could donate to instead of a present", but the "yeah, just cash please" was new to me outside of Asian weddings.

"Wishing Wells" at weddings have been around for as long as I can remember. Have been to a few weddings that have had them.

It could be a "please just give us a cash" but also I've had friends say they just didn't want a whole bunch of junk gifts from relatives that they would never use and would feel too bad to sell or get rid of.
