Didn't actually include Nikora in the poll, but community team preferred Papali'i to Bateman, and it wasn't particularly close.

I personally have gone Bateman though

Is Robson a great trade the week before his bye?

I guess you're trading in a keeper, and you're likely to be trading out Bird or someone else who is out/not a great option.
But his BE isn't that low and waiting a week may not be the worst.

I'm seriously thinking going Tuprin for cash reasons.

I've flipped about a hundred times already between Turpin and Robson, think I've finally settled on Turpin (but not happy about it).
Robson far better player and possibly coming into form with a stronger pack (returning players). For me, bringing him in is reliant on me trading Hynes in Round 16 to fund other trades and now I can't shake the feeling NSW drop Hynes for a traditional 14, which means Hynes would become a HOLD. If that's the case, Turpin is the trade in as it gives me the cash flexibility.
Even if Turpin only scores 35-40 points across the next 5 weeks, he's still making cash. Might hurt in points accumulation compared to Robson but maybe that extra $$ helps offset that.

Agree with others earlier opinion that its basically Turpin for Cook/JMK owners and Liddle for exisiting Robson owners.

    I was leaning iPap

But Bateman does look a more consistent fantasy scorer at the moment - more tackles, likes an offload.

Just Bird/Robson for me this week.

I have been wanting to add a hooker for weeks since I only have Boyd with Granville as backup so this seems like the perfect opportunity, feels like I have good depth in every position now.

I am very tempted to make another trade with 190k ITB, either upgrading Nikorima or finding someone to put into Burbos wasted spot but only have 9 trades so just gotta pull it back a bit.

I was pretty set on Turpin but I can also get Robson for Boyd, potentially trade IKat down to Fainu next week and I’ll have 13 for 16 if Hynes isn’t picked

Got the cash for Loiero to Hynes and it's mighty tempting

Would meaning playing atleast 1 short in round 16 and spending the cash I should probably be saving to turn Turpin and Harrison Edwards into real players for the run home

Seems a lot on here are banking on Fainu being a viable cashout next week?

    Seems risky?

This is my ideal trade next week on the assumption Hynes loses Origin spot

I have Preston already and bringing in Bateman for Host, so Loiero would be surplus to R16 requirements

Yeah, I'm waiting until next week.

Was looking at forcing a trade but have 17 this week (at this stage anyway). I think those low value trades which don't give an immediate advantage can be left a week.

I can see that you might press forward if you need some cash to fund an upgrade though.

I’m just worried that alot can happen over a bye week and someone takes the spot. I mean he’s not nailed on there at all.

Edwards averaging more, but it also includes a 4-try 98. Meaney/Storm yet to really kick ass this year, but I feel it's coming. Edwards can put up mid 30s scores just like any WFB. At an extra $120k (8-9 points) I don't think Edwards is worth it.

Starting to consider Meaney over Drinkwater myself too for similar reasons, plus one less out next week.

Prefer to watch Storm games over Cowboys so that just about seals it too

My dilemma this week is....what edge to r15 hooker do I go with?

    TU Lucy to Turpin
    TD Hosking to Liddell

    Im leaning Lucy to Turpin

I'd lean to the turpin trade from those options.

Wish someone with a crystal ball could tell me how many mins Turpin will get

Wanting to bring in Ipap but would Preston/Loiero be sufficient until Round 20?

Have 5 on the bye in Round 17 so adding Ipap makes 6 which isn’t great

60 would be the number we’re after. 50 a disaster for owners

I'm still not convined this isn't a wasted trade. Both $hit players.

As somebody else pointed out, the golden rule of fantasy is to not trade in a Starling.

Agreed. if he can squeeze out 35s that should be 10pts above his current price. for me he gives a r16 hkr and fks Host off.

So shitto with no 16 value -> shitto + cash + 16 hkr

Preston definitely ok through the byes I think.. If I’d kept him (and I regret I didn’t) think I’d be looking to hold to at least 16, probably 20/21

Loiero I’ve never owned or paid attention too, but he seems to score better than I think he should all the time.
