I think both options score pretty much exactly the same (TPJ 50-55 + Alamoti 30-35 VS Manu 50-55 + IKatoa 30-35)

I would assume Manu regresses somewhat from a 69 (nice) average at 5/8 given the attacking stats in the 4 game sample size (4 tries, 5 TA, 3 LB, 4 LBA, 2 games with 14 & 15 TBs for 8 average)

Edit: Can’t afford Manu in 1 trade like TPJ, guess it won’t be Manu

    TPJ

    That's how that goes.

Rumour that Walker is being dropped/rested for a couple of weeks with Manu to 5/8.

If Walker was gone for a few weeks I think that would make Keary a more enticing option at 507K. No one knows though unfortunately.

Not particularly fantasy relevant, but 12-16 months is the estimate for Doueihi, so missing the first half of next season too. Poor bloke, that's rough.

Only thing I'd say here is that Carrigan is an Origin player, so he's probably a sell over those rounds anyway.

Very Happy I'm planning to hold Carrigan and selling to someone like Tapine over Origin

I didn't think the Roosters byes were favourable to Manu getting time at Fullback... one game covering Teddy for rd 16?

Big debate on whether Ted backs up for all three....traditionally he does not but chances are it's only 2-3 games max for Manu @ FB

It's a big gamble but he's sort of cheap enough now to have a punt and swap to Ted post origin (or use him at CTR). High BE so unless he absolutely brains it this week, which is not unprecedented, he'll be same price next week but miss out on a week of 5/8 points.

Could all go horribly wrong of course.

Edit : I like it as a Carty straight swap play

I've got too many other origin players I have to decide whether to hold - Cook, Haas, Cleary, Latrell, Teddy, Turbo. Potentially HTF or Gilbert if things don't go my way with selections.

Carrigan is interchangable with any number of non-origin players.

    Carty named to start

He's just going to get dropped in final team lists, right?

Maybe with Hands playing HOK last week, BA opted to have Hopgood & Matto on the field at the same time to give Hands the extra support in the middle?

Absolutely, have both him and Haas (holding Haas forever) but going to hold PC until the last minute and then swap to a non Origin Mid

At least he’s playing early. Him playing last last round royally fucked me and probably many.

Granville still on the bench, Jacsk Gosiewski named to start instead. Probably not as likely to entice Fantasy players

Bula starting fullback for Tigers, but also a 2 back bench with Talau and Laurie there, so who knows what is going to go on there
