Thought this was interesting. Also read an article about Brown saying no1s position is safe. With Chanel and Mamo out you would think Ross comes in. Or Pat shifts to wing and Sione doesn't play reserve grade.
I'm also of the thought better to have a stab at Garvey if Lichaa out for 2-3 months than go with Randell and risk Levi/Bhana etc

Think I'm glad I only went with J Saifiti but even then he may not play in 1-2 weeks time, and definitely not when Tariq comes back.

Anyone have stats last year on Fifi and Graham averages when Gallen out?

Saw an article this time last year- same site I think - that said Fifi is the big winner. I personally never buy Fifita until Gallen gets injured he's such a hungous.

    Exactly. It's madness.

I explain an analogy to amateur investors. When the local electronics shop or supermarket drops it's prices, people rush in to take advantage of this. When they raise their prices, nobody feels the need to rush in and buy anymore. So, why does the everyday investor do the opposite when it comes to investing? Fear and emotion controls their choices. They stray away from their strategy and planning and splash cash based on emotion and fear (of missing out etc etc).

Buy problems. Sell solutions. Buy near the bottom of the market. Sell at the peak of the market.

I know it's not exactly the same in this instance, but you see where I'm taking this point. Similar principles.

Post it, I'm keen for a look. What are you going to do when your cows start peaking and need replacing?

Yes buying at the bottom and selling at the top is not only the most logical and surefire way to come out on top, It's also incredibly easy to predict.

Anyone else got Lafai playing tonight?
I may have made an error.

You know, among all the other errors I made while picking my squad. Sad

I was going to get Mataora in my initial team but Knights fan warned that Paea (injured) and Stockwell could take his place meaning reduced minutes

I knew my coffee guy has a cousin on the cusp of playing first team. Thought with Tigers. Asked him again today. It's TMM!!! Unfortunately he has no idea whether he's going to play soon or not

CubanMafiaSandSlugs wrote:To support my above reasoning, I've listed below some round 1 scores from 2015. Players who ended up being elite fantasy scorers in their positions by seasons end:

    Parker 37
    Thurston 33
    Hunt 30
    Merrin 39
    Tedesco 34
    Peats 22
    Bromwich 34
    W.Graham 26
    Jackson 20
    Dugan 27
    Hodgson 23
    Inglis 35
    Morgan 12
    Tauk 25
    Austin 21

That info supports the reasoning that players may improve significantly on their round 1 scores, but it doesn't support the reasoning that fantasy players that got a high team score in round one this year will come back or behind the pack by round 3.

Edit, sorry disregard, i thought this was in relation to another quote, my bad.

If Lichaa is out for more than a month I think I'm going to trade Lichaa for Walker via Jniko and then Musgrave for either Leulia or JFH. Musgrave looked really good and got great minutes over Grevs.

How many points do you have? Rochow and Carter should be reserves. Trade Radradra and Gallen for backs (bring Benry into 2nds) that score.

974 - None to play!! Coffee

Gonna stay solid with Semi, he is a performer, might lose some cash on him but its a saved trade and he will get points. Made the mistake of trading him out early last year. Gallen will go for sure which will give me all the cash i need to make some appropriate trades that will earn some decent coin in a few weeks.
