10 ridiculous high amount. Before trades this week I had 2 Matto and Mam plus Hynes and Wishart who neither likely play. Now Matto possibly out few weeks and Gamble named in reserves is worrying for Mam

If Hynes is only 18th man again (and likely after the big win in game 2) then he will be there surely?

Yea I am being optimistic with a couple of players like Mam, but I have the following getting me to 10 after trades this week:

McInnes, Papalii, Barnett, Hughes, Garner, Hynes, Mam, Walters, Kennedy, Ramsay

Grant is no chance of playing RD 17 with SOO commitments correct? Just wondering why I have seen him thrown around as a trade in this week

I know it's been said a bit around here but this new Lone Scout writer really has no clue what they're on about do they. Check this one.

Joseph Tapine has been an absolute monster of late but will cost you near $800k as a result of his form. The upside is the minutes — with a hooker and an outside back on the bench, his game time (and likely points output) will be strong. The same goes for Adam Elliott who is out of hooker and back at lock, where his game time will be far more consistent for coaches.

He's been starting at Lock for the past 5 weeks lol.

18th man is at game replacement. They don't come back to club now

Only 20 of top 5000 don't own so him playing or not is irrelevant

No bad time to get a keeper I guess? I'm tossing up getting him too.

If the alternative is Mahoney, then he should outscore him from here on out, even accounting for R17 IMO.

    Grant: 59.1 x 9 = 531.9 points

    Mahoney: 48.1 x 10 = 481 points

Gets tricky obviously if there's some R25 resting shenanigans going on etc.

Mahoney isn't good enough or underpriced enough to use trade on for 17 score imo

Doesn't mean Grant with 74 be is most buy now either though

Any thoughts on what to do with this lot?

    Robson
    Haas McInness Lolo
    Tohu Crichton
    Cleary Moses
    Burton Tago
    Hynes Critta Kiraz

    Elliott King Hunt Mam

    Savage Koula Volkman Peoples

    12 (+4) trades, $294k.

Thinking I can go fairly hard with 12 trades left still, considering something like:

Hunt, S Crichton, and Peoples to Grant, Pap, and Kennedy. Tossing up whether Tago to Garner is worth it too.

Not particularly convinced though, any better suggestions?

Why sell Scritt. Plays for best attacking team in comp. He can stay in my team with much more tradable options to go

No chance, I’m grabbing Grant this week as Cotter was my only hooker cover. Wanting at least one of Grant and Cook for the run home and the extra $150k can better be spent elsewhere for me

For me Critta feels like an ideal guy to have as an 18th man come end of the season to cover ctr and wfb. He’s around top 10 average in either position and so could be handy as a loop option if you end up with a red dot wfb/ctr, panthers play Thurs/Friday in 4 of the last 6 rounds.

Any thoughts on Nicholls as a cashout / R17 cover?

They mentioned him on Talking League podcast and I agree too expensive for unreliable up and down scorer. Only R17 trades now should be cash out or keeper. Nicholls is neither

I'm not getting Papen 1st game back. He might not be kicking yet. More interested in Mitchell tbh possibly room for both in my team

Nicholls is the GOAT though, that surely has to count for something Very Happy

I also noticed that the Lord Seve is at 483k, I should just buy him for meme value

Now rumours floating on discord Papen done his ACL at training. Nothing concrete yet. One guy said can confirm my cousin plays NSW Cup and he saw at training.

I thought Storm teams were QCup? Hmmm fishy
