The way I'm looking at it is I may get a bit behind in the first week or 2, but I get a look at what Coaches and teams are doing and have the money to adapt, which is something that we are all basing around speculation.  Pretty much no-one else will have the cash to adapt once we've had a look.

I understand the risk, and I haven't decided yet by the way.  I don't see how it is like leaving Surgess in your NPR's, though willing for you to elaborate.  Have had some great feedback both positive and negative and this is a MASSIVE decision 4 hours out  Shocked

easiest way to look at it is who is your 3rd and 4th reserve, or who is your lowest scorer and what do you think they will score, compare those to the best gun you dont have and see if you think youre strategy will make up the potential 100 point loss in 2 weeks plus the trades you need to bring in the guys with that cash as well as you are now upgrading avg players instead of using 2 trades a week jumping on cash cows

    @Dttragic

Mate, we need you to rejoin L6.

You were booted this morning because your previous team name and current team name were recorded the wrong way round in your registration thread entry.  Hence Loomer was looking for swannies instead of Mammaboiz.  He did the right thing and booted you thinking you were a blow in.  You are still in Overall but you need to rejoin L6.  We will give you an extra hour as you are the last bit of tidying up so is easy to replace you.  But 1800 AEST is your last chance mate.

It's a huge decision.   The way I see it based on what you said is:

Most people who keep 50-100k will be able to jump on any base level cash cows that fire. You just need the coin to cover the potential price rise from the first/second week.

The only benefit for you is those Mid-range cows where people wont have enough money to jump on straight away because they are just outside what they have funds to upgrade.

But people can always down trade or trade one mid range to another if one fires one doesn't.

So the amount of people you are actually getting advantage from is cut down dramatically.

N.B. In saying that, go for it!!! But think about getting a reliable captain option. Yo.

Dttragic also needs to join VSDT League 2 because he joined the 18-team league that BB incorrectly set up and he hasn't been around since BB created the correct 12-ream version.

@B/L why are we picking up your pieces with an hour and a half to go when you couldn't even be bothered filling out the registration form?  You just entered the Overall for a second time.  Why would you even do that?  Go over to VSDT and sort your shit out there too please.

    N. Peats, M. Cherrington
    K. Evans, J. McGuire, S. Sue, V. Leuluai
    C. Parker, S. Burgess, E. Whitehead, L. Ah Mau, J Saifiti, D Bhana
    D. Cherry-Evans, J. Hastings, A. Taylor, J. Nikorima
    M. Aubusson, C. Lawrence, B. Henry, H. Hunt
    J. Mansour, B. Barba, J. Feeney, L. Mitchell, C. Gutherson

Really concerned about Lawrence and Cherrington.

Considering Nathan Green to replace Lawrence, but should I replace Cherrington with another HOK, or move Nikorima up and bring in a HLF?

So with all these cow's that could go off, how much cash has everyone decided to hold back? I'm currenly sitting on $124k but it might be a little too much.

Is there anyone other then Packer up to the price of $260k that will score decently and make some cash? Preferably good enough to make my 17?

Cam Smith was on melbourne sports radio this arvo.

When one of the presenters incorrectly said Bellamy said Billy was out Smith said we havent put a line through him yet. Not sure if thats as negative as it sounds or he was just being casual/didnt want to say the presenter was wrong

He then said Billy is 50/50 to play which is telling in my opinion.

Appreciate the feedback on my left field strategy lads, still tidying up Leagues but have taken both positive and negative on board.  I do think I'm going to run with it, but haven't pulled the trigger.

Paasi? A bit of a risk but should definitely make more than Packer in the long run. Although he's $267 I think.

I have over $250k, but I tend to keep a lot of cash on hand early to try and fix early flops. Remnant strategy of the 3 games before price rise era.

I thought it was just a big overall comp, I haven't had time to read the forum this week and was just filling up my leagues.

As for the virtual dt one I didn't realise there was another element of joining. BUll bender sent a mail saying he stuffed before I had read the first mail so I just deleted it assuming it was cannon fodder.

My bad, you guys do a great job and I know im not very helpful...but its not laziness I purely have very little spare time at the moment.

That's roughly what I've had the previous couple years; your not worried about having to trade someone out though, for the sole purpose of freeing up cash to upgrade another player to a cow?

Wouldn't say I'm worried but it does cross my mind. I just want to get a team out on the park that I'm happy with. Going cheaper in any position just isn't doing it for me
