Agreed, $125k sounds fair to me, surely the NRL marketing team spent more than that on "good"publicity in the wake of Pearce's fuckup.

But we are talking averages here right? I personally cannot see that happening and you've got rocks on your head if you don't think Ferguson isnt going to crunch out some massive scores to boost that average

When you work it out it's probably 8 weeks pay, which if he's not playing then I think that's reasonable. Suspended without pay in a way.

I think Teddy is going to explode this year so I think he could improve heaps, also I think Fergy will be a dud at FB and Mitchell will be there sooner rather than later.

True but the NRL don't really have many options left, they're obviously sick and tired of the game being brought into disrepute and the $10k fines haven't managed to stop anyone yet. Plus wasn't Gallen fined $50k for that tweet a couple years back and this is obviously worse than that.

Yeah I get that, I disagree. All good

If my employer got hold of a video as long as I'm not in a company shirt or at a company paid event they can't do anything. We've had to do something similiar with one of other staff and the end result was nothing - so it's directly related to being in the public eye.

I don't have sponsorship to lose.
