So it essentially becomes lichha v whatever 2nd rower you get. Lichha should be good for a 50avg so your 2nd rower needs to be top of the line

Has Jake Trobjevic come back into anyones calculations with the team they named?

Reckon he plays 50 minutes at least.

Basically with BLawrence not getting named I have gone

Moeroa + BLawrence + CWalker to

    Cherrington + J Trobjevic + 130K 2nd rower (Aloiai/Bhana)

Which is the better pick? And which 2RF/Centre should I get? I already have Henry/Gutherson/JSaifiti

    2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 9 - Page 21 Empty Grant v Packer

Post by jdilla Wed Mar 02, 2016 8:45 am

TLT hasn't messed my team up much at all, thankfully.  Which is probably indicative of me spending far too much time on this forum than anything else - you guys do pretty well with your analysis and picks.

The only issue I haven't settled (and it has always existed) is whether I am better off going with a FRF of Fifita/LAM/Evans/Grant or swapping Grant for Packer and using the $71 to bolster my pretty weak WFB (or keeping some cash in reserve).

Both are starting FRF.  Surely there is more money to be made off Packer, and not a massive difference in points output between the two?  Or, put it this way, not enough of a difference to justify the extra $71k spend?  Packer is in good shape and will have a point to prove, right?  Or do I remind myself that although he looks pretty bada*s, he was decidedly average in the Warriors prop rotation?

    Thoughts, please.

Whats everyone thoughts on Solomone Kata, Shirley if Hurrell returns it would be for Ashford - I need a centre around that price and its down to Claw v Kata atm.

CLaw is the way to go I believe. Second rower playing good minutes. Seems like a nobrainer

Haha I'm guessing Kata would be very erratic. I prefer a more consistent income.

How much would a 134k player need to score round 1 to rise 35k?

One of Chris Lawrence/ Curtis Sironen will only get 60 minutes. My bet is Chris Lawrence which means there aint room for much improvement but still a reliable stable scorer in your centres. Better value in aubs playing 80 I believe.

Pick one: Jake Trobjevic or LAM.

Also is Sam Burgess a must have?

Claw or BJ Leilua would be better picks In my opinion than Kata

LAM, I would say yes at his price and what he is capable of

Finally managed to catch up after leaving for work just before team lists came out.
Apparently Fitzgibbon and Ross are going to drop off Knights bench and Saifiti is only named on the extended bench due to not fitting into jersey 16

What's the go with Green who I have at CTR atm and am I foolish to think Packer is a pointless buy?

I could use 55k I have for early adjustments and get Benry and Packer instead of Green and Bhana

Gordon avg at FB is 40 ish I believe averaged 34 last year playing mostly wing, and a few off the interchange in a team expected to be racking up some points so a fair amount of goal kicking, I'm betting on a return to form for flash, Whitehead over Grant for me, I'm a minute man and I've seen Whitehead in full flow and expecting a big big year from him
