I for one rate @revraiser . He plays hard like I do, doesn't die wondering. His trades are generally sound. He's had a particularly shit run of luck, but hasn't given up and doesn't complain. Others could do well to follow his example. A different year with different luck will see our fortunes reverse. I just hope I'm as classy about it.

I was reduced to playing just 13 players one round last year. I completely gave up on the season after that and stopped playing as there was no coming back from that.
Oohhh, the boot, the boot right in hey !
I'll be right, I look at it differently, next year could be the one....
There will no doubt be some I told you so's around, but for me personally there definitely isn't one perfect formulaic process to Nrl fantasy. It's the undiscovered Midas season anyone one of us could be moments away from.

He's an underpriced 80 minute POD hooker who plays round 13! Great buy.

Angus to Cleary if he plays I think. If he doesn’t I’ll have to pick someone else. Leaves me two trades and 20 red dots.

From James Hooper though so take it with a hugeee grain of salt lol.
Ok, so Cleary no chance of playing this week. Good to know that early I guess.

Cheers mate, appreciate the words from such a valued fantasy contributor.

Slippery slope ahead, even bringing in guys like Wilton and Campbell-Graham late in the season, at most a risk, didnt think they'd suddenly be red dots.

IF, no more carnage, if... I can field a shitty 17.
Brailey
Haas AFB Peachey
Fifita Matterson
DCE Moses
Burton Averillo
Teddy Turbo Walsh
Douehi CHN Verills Blore
Crichton Fogarty Koro Lolo
If Cleary plays the existing planned trade of Fogarty to Cleary is golden right? Otherwise hold trades? Or strengthen a position with a (final) trade? Mid?

Only 1 trade left? Hold it for Cleary. Your 17 is still solid bar Peach and CHN.

True. You'd expect them to at worst under perform in relation to the popular players not fall off the face of the earth.

Jeez I hope you're right. I can bring him in this week but I'd really, really rather not, and just enjoy my Burton ownership instead. His inclusion would displease me greatly. But I know not others.

Assuming no Cleary this week:
First question - if you traded this week who would you get, and how many points will they increase your team by
Second question - if Cleary plays next week how many points will he increase your team by
Bit of guesswork, and you'll likely get stuffed by future injuries and suspensions anyway. But 3 weeks of Cleary + 1 week of CHN probably beats 4 weeks of ?Cook?Murray?Whoever?

I’m not worried he should still get big minutes.mattnz wrote:iPap is in the front row this week, not sure what to think of it.
I have 19 green dots this week. I am holding Angus and holding onto my last trade.
Can still field this:
Macca
Papali’i Haas Murray
Fifita Schuster
DCE Moses
Manu Ramien
Teddy Turbo Ponga
Douiehi Walsh Brailey Olakau’atu
Verrills Peachey Angus Suaali

I've got 19 green dots and 1 trade left, so holding Angus for now.
If anyone needs a hooker to replace Mahoney, Grant is actually a huge POD (0.06% owned in the top 5k) and can score very well even in 60 mins.

Thanks heaps Milchy. It seems obvious but that actually helps a lot. Cheers. And Wolfy too, cheers!
