mcqueen/bird/taia/james/paasi. where do they all fit in. do james or even taia play some prop? or paasi? too many questions

EDIT just found an article where taia says he's been training on the left with ash taylor inside him and josh hoffman outside. mcqueen taking the right side.

Tariq Sims is suspended for the first 5 rounds.

Tapine played 65+ minutes twice last year for scores of 51 and 65.  He is priced at an average of 30.

if Tapine gets Tariq's starting spot, the odds look quite good of him scorign well and making cash.

Against him is the fact that he is being linked with Canberra, and Nathan brown has threatened to play him in reserve grade if he signs there.

Paasi also priced at a 30 average.
He finished last year with scores of 37, 57, 50 in 3 80 minute games.

he needs to keep playing 80 minutes (or close to it) in order to be value. If Taia and McQueen start ahead of him I would avoid.
Would you be able to hazard a guess at Tapine's price after 5 rds if he averged 45?

Or he was hammered/blind drunk & just wandered onto someone's property thinking that's where he lived.

The Api Koroisau story is infinitely more delicate & complicated than anyone can imagine. Young man in need of support. @SeaEagles

Manly on Koroisau: "The incident follows some extenuating circumstances in Apisai’s personal life."

Sounds like instead of reporting about his arrest they should have kept this one quiet for the kids health

yeah it sounds like this story would of been better off left un-reported. cant do any good for anyone.

its a shame the average muppet will just see the headline and just use it as more ammo to 'hate' on league/etc

My comment was not hating on the NRL or Api for that matter, rather just pointing out how the media go ape shit for anything even remotely negative that happens in the pre season.

All good MTB, just thought I would clarify is all. Seems like a very delicate situation involving Api. No doubt Gus will get to the bottom of it and do whats right for all. He genuinely has the players welfare at heart, he is a good bloke Gus.

That sounds like the same kind of logic that everyone who has picked him in the past has used. Lol

Picked him twice and never regretted it. (To your defense, picked him once and did Razz ) But if he starts, the only thing that will keep him out (barring a temporary stint at centre for injury cover during a single game) is Cordner returning early. I don't see that happening with a pec injury. People like to call somebody a trap because they will score lower than you assume. Aubbs was always a gun who didn't get the gametime in the 2nd row. Spotting how long he will likely get when he covers for injury is the key to riding him successfully, as I have done in the past.

People who say he is a trap are probably the same believers in NRL hoodoo that think 'ooo don't captain Cam Smith on a Monday night'.

worst case scenerio Aubbo becomes the first casualty of my trades and I downgrade him to whichever one of Lafai, Hurrell, Lawrence, Brown etc is doing well. I still think that is unlikely to happen, and the boon of having a centre score 50's and increase to 400k over 6 weeks far outweighs the risk of losing a trade.

$340k for 5 straight 45s (probably a little bit less than that as the magic number tends to fall a bit from its initial value (and thus prices rises get a bit smaller)
