Thoughts in which is the better option for my 2nd trade, I need a starting centre

    Trading out Egan to SCrichton
Or Trading out Hampton to a Centre 319k or below

With Taylor dropped there it seems likely it will be a straight swap for Boyd but there is an outside chance that Brimson will go to 5/8 and Campbell will play fullback

The NRL is monitoring the Sydney Roosters and players, as well as staff, could be rushed into a COVID test ahead of Friday’s clash with the Eels at Bankwest Stadium.

Is that for a specific venue they are worried about, or just because the case yesterday was from Bondi Junction?

Roosters players/staff all being tested this morning. Seems precautionary

The guy who got it has been to a cafe in Moore Park where Roosters players also sometimes go, apparently. Seems fairly tenuous to me (famous last words) but no harm in testing them, I suppose.

it was revealed that he visited the Moore Park venue, Azure cafe, on Monday, which is a place that players and staff regularly attend.

    Riki had to go.
    Liddle had to go
Momo I had to trade as I needed a centre.
Hampcoin DPP was too hard to ignore after Niu got dropped
Turpin well who would’ve thought Levi would come along ffs
Leniu was disappointing got decreasing mins after looking positive early on.
    Hampton injured.
    Alvaro did his job peaked.

I know you think I’m being harsh mate but every week around Wednesday we get a shitload of scattergun posts pleading for advice and then throwing in crazy hypotheticals to cast doubt on responses.

It grinds my gears when you hit people up directly.

I have posted in response multiple times suggesting you have a think before posting and try adopting a more long term approach to your team.

For example if you are not going to play Simo when you have an injury what is he in your team for? He is there for backup, so unless you can trade him to someone like Ponga or To’o play him.

TPJ is a good trade in as he plays 13 which is the point I was trying to make.

You don’t get any better if you keep outsourcing your decisions. The forum is a resource to help you and make playing the game more entertaining it’s not a magic eight ball.

There was an article the other day that QLD wouldnt be doing border closures any more, so Magic Round should be all good.

BUT they also said they wouldn't do full lockdowns anymore and then they did the 3 day lockdown with half a days warning.. for one bloody case.. so who fkn knows.

It's a tricky one. Super talented kid so he might keep finding line breaks and try assists/etc. Otherwise he's probably a 25 to 30pt average sharing fb/wing with RTS.

Yeah, it didn't say that at all. Still think he's probably worth the punt.

On the radio here in NZ this morning they played some audio from a Nathan Brown interview, and he was saying how Walsh is still only 18 and some weeks they'll need him to come off the bench and some weeks he'll need a rest

Yeh but is this a "haas will play less mins this year" thing or not. If Walsh keeps playing well then he'll stay in the starting side.. probably.. there's definitely risk there though.

    I was only going to do the one trade with possibly Hampton to somebody, but I just realised if I take the punt on Walsh, I can then upgrade Alvaro to Moses with 11K spare. No brainer trade right? Was going to hold all my round 13 players but even though it will drop me to 20 trades, it would give me this team;

    Brailey
    Watson IPap Haas
    Schuster Fifita
    Cleary Fog
    Bird Peachey
    To'o Laurie Ted

    Crichton Moses Walker Walsh

    Stefan Simpkin Leniu Simo

Won't be able to do the trade next week in a single trade based on their average as I won't have enough. Seems simple right? Or I could wait for Matto or Koro next week but Moses seems like an absolute steal and must have at that price.
