As I said in Fantasy thread. Break Even by itself is notalways useful

Difference between Break Even and Average (or expected score) is a better indicator of price to be made.

I've got AUbs and Brown in the centres so will run with that for a short while until a long term option comes up.
Goodwin/Hunt might be a decent medium term options but I don't think they are as important as getting in one of the halves/forwards who are about to jump in price

I've gone for Mbye and Taupau, got walker in last week. It's so much easier getting a chance to see players before price changes.

Its annoying Walker didn't start base price in this comp. otherwise I would have brough him in last week too

(probably should have found a way to get him in anyway)

Just on that point Milchy I see Goodwin barring injury as a keeper as to why I got him in ( cant be bothered messing around in centres ) however I have toyed with the idea of keeping Green this week ( heaven help me ), and as you say investing in the forwards, jury still out on that at the moment.

I had hooker injuries so it wasn't hard to find the cash to fund him.

Is it me getting confused or isn't this the best of the week of the DT year to make cash? So bringing in 2 MASSIVE projected price increases over bringing in guns/keepers this week is the play?

Yes. Although you don't necessarily want the biggest price rises just for this week if they won't sustain their new price and will just start bleeding their new cash almost immediately
(I would not be convinced by Pat Mata'utia for example)

Also there are guys who have missed 1 round like Garvey, Scott who you can hold off a week on and get in next week for free if you want, so no need to rush in anyone who has just played 1 game.

Spot on SI this week for DT and SC. I understand Milchys point re break evens but this week is the crucial time to pick up missed cows who have played 2 games like Walker or missed opportunities like number 12 on the list, Sir Ethan Lowe for me

Think I will give Greeny one more chance , if he gets a run just hope he can reach his BE......

Wouldn't bet on him getting more than 20 minutes.

I'll probably keep him because there are better trades elsewhere. Doesn't have that much cash to lose, so just wait until someone cheap and promising comes along. I don't have to worry about palying him though

OK play 2 out of Barba, Gordon, Mitchell

Based on opponents Barba should be one. Not sure I trust Mitchell against the Cowboys, so might let Gordon have a crack (who doesn't seem super awesome himself)

I would go Barba and Gordon myself only because Mitchell is too much of an unknown, also after toying with running Greeny again this week I have backed out and brought in Hunt - need some running repairs on my centres, and I dont think my hearts up to waiting till Monday for Greeny.

I'm going Mitchell and Gordon. Take away Barba's one big play and he was disappointing last week.

Agree with Green - Hunt. I'd be upgrading (to anyone really) if I had to play him - single biggest boost you can make to your score. I can't see Green getting any more than the 15 minutes he got last round: no reason to suspect he'll score much better either.

Im probably going Barba Gordon. Mitchell playing cowboys up there and forecast to piss down tonight

Hoping for some decent points from Sio Siua Taukeiaho tonight - dont let me down son.

A bit worried Mbye is another mid-ranger whose score will settle down to 30 points a game. but he's hard to pass up a given that likely price rise.
