Yes Addo Carr is suppose to be super quick but thats not gonna help when our forwards are getting bent back. Saw some vids of him in ressis for cronulla, i think these days you need more of a tuaki/mansour/vatavei type winger than this little dude

Does it make sense to have both then?

Yep it sure does bro. Get as many dpp's as you can in frf, 2fr, ctr & wfb.

I wouldn't pick them just because they're dpp but both of those guys definitely have plenty of upside. MCK will be named rd 1 for sure

Yeah haven't seen Addo-Carr play but from everything I've heard he is safe under the high ball and has blinding pace. Don't like the idea of Naiqama back to wing as he seemed a bit suspect under the high ball but Rankin certainly gives another attacking option. If nothing else Tigers will be fun to watch

Anyone see Paul Carter getting good mins?

Will he potentially get similar game time as Ben Lowe last year?

I'm hopefull he gets the starting back row gig over Turner\Grevs simply because he is cheaper, both the latter options are more likely though, Turner scores quite well when he has had the minutes in the past

I get a good chuckle out of your avatar everytime haha.

Carter should get minutes at South, Grevs leaving for Panthers will hurt his minutes and Turner needs to retire before anything terrible happens. I fear for the kids safety.

Fan report from Wests Tigers members meeting, copied from tigers forum.

    1) Joel Edwards might not make first grade as fast as we thought he would. Taylor hinted towards his fitness not being up to standard.
    2) Hunt will most likely get the wing spot, spoke really highly of him.
    3) Chee Kam might see NSW cup for the first few rounds
    4) When Ballin comes back from injury, it's a possibility he might play as a ball playing lock (i spoke to him afterwards).
    5) I think Aloiai will push for a bench spot for round 1

Was also mentioned that the Qld boys were a bit off the pace.

Don't think i can trust Taylor, Sue started in the second row last year, was getting decent scores then got moved to the interchange and prop! If he gets the minutes at lock/second row he will go well, but Taylor is a moron

Goo on you for making the effort to go Milchy. No way I could drag myself to it this year.

Not if Ballin will be coming in as a lock after 4/5 rounds. Reckon that pack will chop & change more than dreams on cheese.

Is a shame as they have decent byes and cheap options

My only trip was to the Wests tigers forum, with Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v handy. (That's copy and paste for the SIs of the world)

I'm not technically a member at the moment. Yet to renew, although I probably will.

As already said, a bit too much uncertainty.

What if he starts at lock but then gets benched when Ballin/Edwards etc make the team.

Edwards is the one I wanted to get a starting spot.

I think at this point, the Rd 1 tigers pack nay not be a good indication of the rd 6 pack, so well make any selection there with a bit of wariness.

haha totally right but you didn't need to say round "6" when a 2 or 3 would have been more precise
