Haha, yep that was my plan. And then I blew it all last week on Mannering and Parker. No regrets at all, but going to be hard to get the likes of Hindmarsh back in my team, and guys like the above I was hoping to acquire too.

My community sport teams are currently planned for a return early June (I play soccer and Oztag) Local soccer association has actually published a preliminary draw - my first game would be 5th June. But its a bit dodgy because I'm sure there will be a lot of teams withdraw/merge/not be able to field a team so they are going to have to redo the draw.

In general, lockdown restrictions are being lifted quicker than the official line (ie it seems people have decided things are safe and are just ignoring the rules)
Our cases are pretty low, but we've seen a small rise over the past couple days so hopefully people don't get too complacent and cause everything to ramp up again. Most of the cases these days seem to be part of known clusters though rather than rampant spread

In NSW, you are allowed to have 2 adult visitors to your house (and any of their kids) but actual restrictions vary state to state. Kids go back to school 1 day a week starting Monday

Thanks mate keep me updated if you can! Schools were supposed to be returning June 1 but I believe even that has been thrown out now over here in Wales!

It looks like we are an age away from even returning to social distance training! Restrictions being lifted Monday but they will be small, our country is full of idiots mind there’s hundreds out all the time just fucking the future up for those maintaining the rules

Can you keep me updated bud! I’m interested to know because there’s talk over here it won’t be starting until next year and will be no tackling, rucking or scrums! Praying it’s hear say but I’m not holding my breath! Absolute shit shower from our government!

Will do. Hope you get a start-up again there this year but yeah, looks pretty hectic over there so who knows? I'm still bracing some some kind of second wave here as we try to get back to some kind of "normal."

What’s lockdown phase are you guys on in NZ and AUS

I'm back at work but no-one can enter the shop, all over the phone or via email. I sell Wire Rope and Chain for the Construction, Forestry and Fishing industries. We are fucking busy!

We were still on call over the lockdown but I only went in twice.

Hopefully our restrictions will be relaxed in the coming week and we can get back to our new normal, whatever that is. On a positive note, it's been great to spend more time with the Kids, youngest is 20, I never see them...

BTW, Mums Welsh, Splott in Cardiff, born in Leeds.

Her father was a Cooper and got a job with Tetley's in Leeds making barrels. That's where she met my Dad, he was the first member of his family to not work in a coal pit and was shunned for it, hence why I'm in New Zealand
