    Williams was worst on field and Magoulias one of the best off the bench when he replaced him. Sorenson was playing edge.

    Sorensen was also originally named in Magoulias interchange role before they both got late promotions due to Nikora out. Way more likely Magoulias drops out of the 17 then starts.

    This Kennedy in/out news makes it hard to tinker. I'm eyeing off Tevaga, Watson and TTurbo and can only afford two of them. Perhaps I'm better off getting Turbo regardless of Kennedy? Thoughts on this:

    Fifita -> Tevaga
    Williams -> TTurbo
    Walters -> Grant
    Musgrove -> Magoulias/Toomaga/bank trade if no one good pans out.

    Try and turn Levi into Watson the following week?

    For reference (pre-trades)

    Koro
    Haas Carrigan
    Lolo Fifita Leilua
    Moses Mann
    Aubs Shiba
    Pappy Kennedy Drinkwater

    Levi Williams Walters Katoa
    Luai Williame Rudolf Musgrove 170k

    Only the NRL would decide to make majot rule changes 2 rounds into a season

    Are they so bored during lockdown they are coming up with new rules just for something to do

    I'm not sure its a great idea to just throw this in now..

    People see the upside when in attacking zone, but if you've pinned a team down their end with a good kick, you may as well try your luck with a bit of niggle/wrestle on tackles one and two... probably 50/50 chance of giving away an extra tackle or two, instead of the team with the ball getting a penalty and kick for touch and out of trouble.

    I thought the same but in the attacking zone especially late in the game. Giving away 2 tackles instead of 2 points could make a hell of a difference.

    Penalty goal first score bet has just gone out the window.

    The good teams can defend multiple sets on their own line anyway. The roosters been giving away penalties intentionally for years. When the attacking team gets too close to the try line it becomes somewhat easier to defend (it seems). With no threat of 2 points then its gonna be a slow old ruck.

    6 more isn't really much different from taking a quick tap. actually having to play the ball will be slightly slower than a quick tap. (obviously you can't take a quick tap inside the attacking 10m line)

    They tried the 6-again instead of penalty before - during an all-star game, and perhaps somewher eelse as well.

    But chucking it into NRL games with basically no warning, when its a fairly major change to the rules to chuck on clubs.

    From a fantasy point of view, should mean more run metres for hookers coming out of their own half as they get opportunities to tap-and-go. Cook might get back to uber-tier after falling slightly in the past 12 months.

    59 with a try. Would have just cracked 40 without it. It just looks like his base stats won't be as high as some others but he looked much better in round 2. Matt was all over him and I kept him based on his bold call. Even had to rechange my team name so I guess I'm keeping him haha.

    No, Matt is right, Williams was dogshit and was hooked for Mago to get more minutes. Pretty sure Williams only came back on for a concussion or injury to someone else. I also think Mago would have started in round 3, he was immense off the bench, definitely what the Sharks need.

    His base stats in rounds 1 and 2 were on par with his career best years at 2rf. 30 tackles and 90 odd metres is his standard.

    Round 1 he missed 7 tackles though.

    You buy Hess because you think he can get back to scoring tries. I'd be holding him.
