Was wondering if these are mistakes or if there's any method behind it and BEs carry over from last season?

Its just from the same test site we are grabbing the prices and positions from.

I'm pretty sure they aren't the "real" ones, unless you think Dane Gagai will start the season with a BE of -2

Hi guys. I finally remembered my password. It looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do. Blokes posting up teams already, I think I'm behind the eight ball.

Yep, saw that. Salford probably need him more than Saints, but they are a basket case of a club.

So I'm looking through the centres & at 231k Hurrell seems too good to pass up.

Koukash is an absolute belter! Have you seen some of their top guys all joining a championship side in Leigh!

Loved Harrison Hansen for years, now playing with his mates in the championship! mental

I'm strongly considering him too. But what are you going to do if he ends up in and out of the team again, or dumped to the bench.
Bit of a rusk asking him to fulfill his potential, but certainly plenty if value if he can.

Lafai in the same boat for me. Good value if he can get back to his best, but what odds is that?

Ive read comments on weapons that he's apparently the fittest he's ever been but we hear this every year about the Warriors in general but it turns out to be cr-ap & they revert back to the norm. It's just that I only see a couple of worthy options in the centres but they are costly.

Also loving your planner Milchy. Great stuff mate.

Cheers Milch, so a 27 would price him at $229,000 = only a $59,000 upgrade.  I think that there will be plenty better value for the wfb/ctr bench spot and $40,000 better spent somewhere else

Remember that with CTR and especially WFB their scores between each week can fluctuate enormously and even someone with a 27 ave might sneak a couple of 50's in but follow these with a couple of 10's too. The secret is to sell after they have some high scores which might mean you gain $100K. You need some luck and hope this happens in the early rounds.

Surely Copley will take some time to find his feet at the Roosters especially after not playing much first grade last year.

IMO the secret is not to try and predict runs of form. Its a waste of trades chopping and changing your team every few rounds trying to make a quick buck.

If you get Hurrell you have to be prepared to keep him for the whole season. Perhaps if Dugan/someone drops enough in price you might plan a switch, or maybe a new Soliola will appear.
But the plan should be to ride out the whole season, and play for his overall score, not caring about week to week fluctuations

First Draft for the year. Pick it to pieces.

    C Smith, M Parcell
    J Bromwich, J Graham, J Debelin, S Lousi
    C Parker, E Whitehead, R Rochow, J Tapine, J Edwards, M CheeKam
DCE, Hastings, A Taylor, C Walker/Te Maire Martin
    J Croker, Auva'a, B Henry, Gutherson
M Gordon, Ferguson, Holmes, L Mitchell, J Hawkins

17k left. Gone more forward heavy than backs. Was also looking at T Merrin, J Lyon, J Mansour instead of some of the players I have.

Exactly. You used to have to do that with JT and just deal with dud scores knowing that as long as you were only playing overall he would average you 55 at the end of the year. Need to take a similarish approach with SJ

Your spot on with it being a waste of time and trades. I generally try not to start the year with inconsistent type players unless they're ridiculously undervalued, it seems a lot less risky to just wait for the run of low scores and grab them cheaply.
