Props or Front Row Forwards

What is the logic behind the reduction of interchanges from 10 to 8?

Do the big minute props like Bromwich or Graham increase their playing time?

Or will the bench props play more minutes when they come on after 20-25 minutes which may reduce the starting props minutes?

Or will there be no change at all?

A big part of the logic is to bring the playmakers/attackers back into the game apparently.  But there will be a fine line between whether players like Granville and Seggers find more space around the ruck verses them becoming 80 minutes hookers week in week out and losing a bit of energy in attack.  Especially if it does move to the proposed 6 man interchange in a couple of years.
