    Fair enough

Who are you thinking out getting out of Twal and the other players?

My team is fucked 7 ways from Sunday.

    D. Cook
    M. Taupau, P. Haas
    C. Murray, R. Matterson, J. Taumalolo
    A. Milford, K. Mann
    J. Bateman, B. Nikora
    J. Tedesco, K. Ponga, CNK

    C. Smith, R. Farah, R. Mahoney, A. Fifita

    P. Carrigan, B. Xerri, B. Brittian, Z. Lomax

I have $40k in the bank and ideally I need a better HLF and to upgrade CNK. Really stuck on what I can do if anything with the shambles I have.

A very quick eyeball. It doesn't make sense to me that you're bringing in a r16 player in r17. With a rejigg, can you target player x (a r16 half?) or player y in r16 instead of r17?

I probably need another look tbh.
R16 will be RTS, 212K and 212K with 284K remaining and 4 trades. Then R17 will be fun half and final bench player

Can anyone offer any advice here?

    Cook
    Haas Taupau
    Murray Tolo Bateman
    Morgan Ponga
    Xerri Nikora
    RTS Teddy Sivo

    MC9 Mahoney Havilli CNK

    Fifi Lomax Dearden Brittain

Lomax or Dearden will get traded to Coates if he plays but I'm stuck. Really only want Smith as another final player but need the money. Seriously looking at Fifi to Watson for points and cash generation. That money will allow me to get Smith next week and the money gained from Watson over the next fortnight will help. Wouldn't mind going Twal instead but won't be able to get Smith, Fifi back and keep Twal. 11 trades before trades this week with 28K. Any thoughts would be awesome lads.

I hope that's right in terms of him turning a corner. I really do.

I applaud Packer for how he's changed his life and the work he's doing these days.
Then we have guys like Ferguson back in our game who seem remorseless for their actions.
I thought Pearce had turned a corner with alcohol before his move to Newcastle but there are so many rumours of him being out on the piss all the time.

You never know what's going to stick or what is going through the individual's mind at the end of the day.

maybe look at SJ as a cut price keeper mate. Mann is fine for the next fortnight, maybe even round 17 if Pearce plays origin and gets rested. maybe Lomax to Coates if he plays to get money to upgrade CNK.

Yeah mate, I can see this from your earlier post.

My point is that your half (x) and final bench (y) could be r16 players. I cant get my head around bringing in a r16 player in r17 (you've got SJ and Milf etc on your list)

It looks like you've made your mind up anyway. Just offering a different view point.

Thanks mate, not bad. Keeps Fifi and still have 100K left over to fund Smith next week. Don't see Lomax making an early comeback next week either. Risk losing money on CNK too.

Yeah chears mate Smile I see your point too. It's more saying as of R17 my halves would be Cleary and Watson so I would obviously need to bring in a HLF. Whichever one of those halves is performing the greatest at that point and for their price I will take. Pretty much, I can either afford RTS and 2x212K players or MILF/SJ and 2x212K players before R16, I am just grabbing RTS as it will be at his cheapest I would imagine for the rest of the year. If I am bringing in someone after R16 it doesnt really matter what bye round they played. Maybe we are getting some wires crossed Smile

Also I wouldn't be able to afford x and y before R16. Only way I can afford them is by going 2 basement players in R16 (where I only have 3 to trade out - Dearden, Martin, CNK. Everyone else is either a keeper or R16 player). This is why I have to grab them in R17 when I will have the cash from my R16 cash outs + Mann and Watson

Not sure how I feel about that. Has he really rehabilitated? If so, good for him. Hopefully he can do a lot of work with at risk youth.
If he's just putting on a facade for the NRL then he can fuck off.

Warriors have to be very careful not to pick up any further players with toxic issues. We've done so well lately in that regard and we're moving forward as a club.

As far as Im aware he's been good for the last 2 years at the Broncos right? If so, then I think he is on the right track and deserves further opportunities. If not, well yup, I wouldnt want him.

His father in law works for the Warriors and his agent is apparently the Warriors go to agent at this time. I think he's basically a done deal.

EDIT - I see Im a bit late on this Smile

Surely at least 6-8% of CNK's 21% ownership are people who started with him and now no longer play?

Just watching some videos of Xavier Coates and he looks like a young Greg Inglis. Runs just like him and even looks like him. Once he puts on another 5-10 kegs he will be a good player. I think I have seen enough to grab him if named. May even nab a wing/CTR spot for the year off Shiba.
