cheers, Saquon picked a good time to finally deliver as my number one draft pick. Overall he was a bit of a (relative) bust as was Mahomes (relative to their draft positions) - but they both turned up big when needed. It was really Jones, Carson and Godwin who consistently nailed it for my team this year.

Well done on your season too - reckon you still topped the overall points table.

Thanks mate. Yeah, most teams that drafted Saquon this year struggled, so that speaks to the way you drafted the rest of your team, well done.

See you next year, maybe third time lucky for me in the final lol (Mearcats wasted me last year too)!

Ding dong the witch is dead!  Dance

both games sure were something, Josh Allen is super-talented, but that only goes so far when he has a roast potato for a brain, just some baffling decisions from him when they were in control, and Watson with the perfect mix of skill and luck to make the game winning play, those two defender hit him at the exact times and angles he needed to be able to pinball off the both of them and stay upright, i reckon if either one of them gets their a little earlier or later than they did, he gets his shit mixed.

as for the second game, as far as i was watching the story of the game was just how far the Pats have fallen as opposed to how high the Titans have risen, that team took the handbook on how NOT to beat the Pats at Foxborough, checked every single box and for the first time that i can recall, Brady & Belichick didn't have it in them to make them pay for it.

seeing a lot of people saying the Ravens should be scared of the Titans, but i don't really see it, out of the 3 possibilities, Bills was my least wanted, followed by Texans, i just saw way more factors working in our favour with a Titans visit. Sure, as a fan i'll be nervous, but i've always been a pessimist when sport boils down to knock-out games because anything can happen, but nothing really that I saw struck fear in me. Henry is, of course, a big problem, but the Pats rush defence has been an achilles heel all year, Williams and Pierce alone should put up so much more of a challenge, if we come out switched on, get a couple early stops and Lamar does what Lamar has been doing, Tannehill will have to try to beat us without leaning on Henry and it won't go well for him.

oh cool, two bullshit personal fouls and then an out-of-bounds TD, interesting start from the zebras

edit: *sigh* where did my Ravens go and who are these imposters wearing purple?

continuing-to-talk-to-myself: a half to forget, titans were good, we were bad, our WR's not named Hollywood were worse and the referees were diabolical... Starting to catch fire at the end of the half though so hopefully we can continue that momentum, 8 points is so far from insurmountable with an offence like ours.

last-edit-before-i-turn the-tv-off-and-cry-in-the-corner:...ffs... is it me? is it something i did 2 years ago that cursed the teams I support to turn to complete shit in sudden death?

L3 - robelgordo wins, Danaconda86 minor premier/finalist. We should both get promoted to L2 next year. Then L1 the year after...

    I got you.

49ers in the Super Bowl baby, up against Mahome who has been on fire. Will be a stellar game and as someone who loves Mahomes, will be exciting to watch. I want Mahomes to get his first of many Super Bowl wins, but 49ers defence too strong and Jimmy G to show why he was the heir to Brady.

As a chiefs fan I'm super pumped. The Chiefs D bottled up Derrick Henry but the 49ers run game is a whole different beast. I don't see Sherman being able to cover Tyreek or Mecole so it's going to be Nick Bosa vs. Mahomes. It's gonna be fuckin sweet
