Probably the best overall player in the game at the moment, and getting better. Bateman comes close. Sell away, but you’re making a mistake.

Idk where you're getting that from? his scores are heavily inflated by attacking stats and by selling him to Latrell, I get a guaranteed top 17 player and free up 150K that I really need (in order to get Ponga in).

Lol, just noticed Bird lost a point to 20. Final straw. Fuck off, Jack.

    Bird to Wighton
    Kami2 to Haas

    Cook
    Fifita Surgess
    Murray Arrow Garner
    Morgan CHT
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco Wighton CNK

    Mahoney Rein Lawrie Haas

    Burr Cartwright Ravalawa Sivo

No more trading until the cows/middles have peaked. Taupau, Kikau, Tolo, ARey bye targets, DCE/Ponga/RTS general later targets.

Thoughts on selling Murray? What I'm considering doing is the following:

Sivo to Ponga (I can't afford this trade directly otherwise I'd just do that)

    Murray to either:

    * A gun CTR like Latrell that I would keep all year.

    * A mid tier FRF like Junior Paulo (since I need R12 numbers and Fifi might be out)

    * A mid tier WFB/HLF like Gutho.

My current team before trades: $223K ITB:

    Cook
    Fifi, Lawrie
    Arrow, Murray, Garner
    Munster, Morgan
    Nikora, Bateman
    CNK, Teddy, Sivo

    Mahoney, Rein, Xerri, Okunbor

    Rava, Garrick, Flegler, DBrown
You don't need latrell you currently have the top 2 scoring centres your bench in a major concern having to run xerri and okkie in your 14-17. Jump on Hass this week for fledger and get a mid tier forward to run on the bench

I wouldn't sell him until after the first bye, but no way he scores more fantasy points than 2rfs Taumalolo, JTrbo, Taupau, Crichton over the course of a season (uninjured) no matter how big your man crush is on him.

Obviously it depends on the team you have but how important is it to rotate the cash cows who have peaked (Bird, host etc) to the new ones coming through verses grabbing a gun like cook while you still can?

Got any ideas for middy forwards? Preferably those playing R12?

The reason I like Latrell is that he's a top 17 player and I won't have to use another trade on him, whereas if I get a mid tier forward, I'll eventually have to burn another trade to get them out. Considering I've used max trades so far, I can't afford to do that.

Well, yeah, obviously. I only really meant no more trading for a couple of weeks (hopefully) because everyone is making money and you can't have every cow. I'd like Xerri, but whatever. As long as there are no 3+ week injuries think I can resist. (Now those are famous last words.)

Latrell a guaranteed top 17? This isn’t 2018 anymore mate

Love Murray but if he proves to us again this week that he relies on attacking stats , jturbo or lolo look at good prices for an upgrade.

I get that, but the reason I want Ponga is that I don't want to burn trades buying players that won't be in my final 17. If I get Guth or Wighton, I doubt they're quite good enough to be in my final 3 WFB, whereas Ponga likely will be, despite playing Origin. I've used max trades so far so I need to think about how many trades I use on a certain player. It's also why I want Latrell, as I plan on keeping him all year

Get Ponga now. He's as cheap as he's probably going to get and you can set and forget.

I was considering Guth or even Meaney if they went well to stick in my WFB's for extra cash to patch other weak points in the team but Ponga is just too good to resist.

He's hoping to end up as an 80 minute lock when he is at full match fitness this season. Could be another Mahoney for those that jump off early.

His BE this week is still low 30s and if he keeps his 55 average he has a lot of price increases coming still. This week they play the dogs so his score could be anything.
