    Thats what I'm hoping! Keep losing ground on the leading group but a couple of extra trades used well may help close the gap.

    Little disappointed to drop 50 or so spots with a score over 1000. Tough crowd. Fingers crossed that the Moses trade doesn't come back to bite me. He better step it up in round 12

    He's got no hope navigating a team around the park. Took him 40 days to get the Isralittes out of Egypt to Jerusalem. Google maps says it's a 6 day walk.

    90% certain on:
    Vaughan -> Taupau
    Niukore -> Havili
    Martin -> Brittain

    If for some strange reason Niukore ends up starting, I'll reverse, but he's turned to spud lately, and off the bench, I can't see how he gets decent minutes this week.

    I am also considering Wighton -> JFH.

    With a view to go Young -> Bateman next week, in a single trade.

    It would really suit me if Bateman is ruled out. If Bateman is in, that is a problem for Young, both points and cash.

    Holding Cook then mate? Our teams are diverging - woo! It keeps things interesting.

    I like these trades. I'd be doing something very similar if I had Vaughan etc

    Bateman is going to be a pain - I also hope he sits out.

    Good luck!!

    Yeah, I think I will hold. It's still on my mind though. Its a tough one. We are all kind of assuming Brittain scores well, but yeah, if he does, he kind of covers off on Cook getting a rest anyway.

    I'm still finding it hard to part ways with Vaughan and Wighton. Wighton has been good to me, and Vaughan could be up for extra work with Graham now out injured. He didn't have a break at origin time last year either.

    The problem with trading out Cook is having to get him back. It's an extra trade, and trying to time that with grabbing other keepers post origin 3 will be tough. Its unlikely Vaughan and Wighton will end up in my final team.

    I might need to consider holding Niukore til next week though. Even 20 to 25 points off the bench is better than nothing.

    Like the trades. Would be doing the same if I had Vaughn.

    In a similar situation with wanting Havili. As im probably trading Allan for him.

    Bateman is going to be a pain. Hoping he sits out as well.

    Revised, and have made two trades at the moment.

    Vaughan -> Taupau
    Niukore -> Havili
    Martin -> Brittain

    Wighton -> Kenny

    Will wait for some more team news re both Bateman (and how it affects Young), and Niukore..

    Week 12 Summary

    I also pulled the pin on Cook -> Bateman and Niukore -> Havili, so used all four trades.

    Score: 771 ▲

    15 trades and 837k in the bank. Young and Garrick will be traded out. I think one trade in will be McInnes. The other, I'm not sure, will probably need to be a 2rf.. JFH is looking hard to ignore and is still priced pretty well.

    Will give me:

    CS9
    Fifita Taupau
    Murray Taumalolo JFH/XXX
    Reynolds Moses
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco Ponga CNK
    R: Haas McInnes Mahoney Havili
    E: Xerri Lomax Martin Kenny

    I'd probably play Kenny over Havili if his situation allows him to play #9 again.

    Would hope to be able to sit on that team for a couple of weeks. Be nice if Martin can play a few more games too.

    JFH plays 1 game less than Twal/Matterson/Kbrom

    If JFH averages 55 he scores 660 points and a R16 player only needs to average a tick over 50 to beat that.
    If JFH averages 50 a R16 player only needs just over 46 to be a better bet.

    JFH is a little bit cheaper than main R16 options so maybe that might nudge it.

    That's a good point, definitely worth considering. I might actually sway towards a RND 16 player.

    I'd like to get Matterson, but I'm a bit wary of him playing for NSW in game 3. I guess it doesn't matter too much as I might get a non rnd 16 player anyway.

    Young -> McInnes an easy decision.

    Reynolds injury is frustrating, so I've traded Garrick -> Milford.

    I'll hold Reynolds for now, will leave me with 3 halves though if he comes back quickly, but don't have half cover this week with Ponga also not playing. Garrick is past his shelf life now anyway. (watch him score 60)

    Milford (should play) round 16 so he's not the worst guy to bring in right now, and the Titans on Sunday arvo at Suncorp is an attractive match up, so a good time to grab him. Broncos have a decent draw for the next few weeks too. Fingers crossed.

    Nice trades MTVB. I'm looking at Reynolds to Milf next week. I have to jump on RTS this week to avoid a big fat zero. Not ideal.

    Good luck! We both need some luck with Cook....

    Im not in the same league as you guys this year, but have the same Milf Dilemma. Im actually trading hi out this week. Im hoping that might act as a bit of a point of difference to those that hold him. Its a stab in the dark but Im thinking he could be out for a while....

    You mean trading out reynolds?

    I probably would if I had to, but I can afford Milf while holding Reynolds.

    I have a sneaking suspicion he will be back next week. Bennett didnt really confirm anything other than it is just a pain issue and he is out this week.

    Week 13 Summary

    Score: 1010
    Overall Rank: 8 ▲

    Huge week for the broken tv's. Climbed into the top 10, pretty certain the best position I've ever been.

    With 13 trades left, my initial plans were to hold off trading this week. Hoping for some good news re Adam Reynolds, otherwise it might be time for him to go, to someone like Matterson.

    I think I'll hold Mahoney another week. Should make 60 tackles verse the boring Broncos one out up the middle gameplan. CNK can probably stay as well. R Pap would be pretty tempting if he is named FB though.

    17 without trades:
    CS9
    Fifita Haas
    Taumalolo Murray Taupau
    Moses Milford
    Bateman Nikora
    Tedesco Ponga CNK
    R: McInnes Mahoney Havili Xerri
    E: Kenny Martin Lomax Reynolds

    Actually a bit shaky in a couple positions. Might need to turn Reynolds into Matterson so I don't get Havilis 30 odd. Don't really have enough trust in Kenny or Martin in the 17...
