haha great video
Most americans cant even fathom that there is life outside of the USA, so to them if they win something they are the best in the world.

Re: 2019 Sydney Roosters Thread
The rumour that Chrichton will be shopped around at the end of the season and could end up in rugby seems more plausible alongside the Frizz to the Roosters rumour.

So when clubs release players to sign for less at other clubs, they are on the hook cap-wise for the difference between the contracts.... How does that work if the player fucks off to union?

Won't matter being the Roosters. I'd guess it comes down to if the player is willing to walk away if being offered less in RU?surmo13 wrote:

You would think the contract would be severed entirely and there would be a brand new one with a different company. The is no way the roosters would pay a RU club to take him...

I’m not really focused on how and where actual money goes, just how the cap designation works, it’s my understanding that when a player retires from the game, the club still carries the contract’s worth on the cap, save for medical retirement of course, would or should Crichton leaving the game technically come under that rule?

if both parties agree - the contract can be made null and void and if agreed, neither party owes anyone.
Or they may agree on a certain amount to pay him out to fuck off.
Also, geez thats a rare stuff up on the rooster's behalf. Matterson is absolutely killing it at the tigers, Crichton barely making an impact at the roosters.

I thought they were wrong to do it at the start. I don't think Matterson put a foot wrong at the Roosters. I think it's Uncle Nick adopting the Galácticos mentality.

They prob could have kept him for half the price of Crichton too.
Yeah, the bloke was a 6 coming through, turned himself into one of the best young back rowers in the game.

R20 2019
Sydney Roosters 58 (10t, 9c) def GC Titans + GC Suns 57 (1t, 1c, 8.3)
Not a bad effort.
