That money better last them a while because without the ongoing income from the development they're screwed.

I thought they played pretty bad - mostly just timing though. Bombed 3 or 4 tries out to Katoa, mostly bombed through Doooougs.

How the hell did Flanagan only get 75 points for kneeing Lodge in the head? Deserved 3-4 weeks off.

pretty gross, on the same day Beattie is telling the journo's they are taking players health and safety very seriously in the wake of the recent heavy CTE focus on the sport, the MRC looks at a bloke throwing a UFC knee into another players head and goes "eh, no harm, no foul, right guys?" Rolling Eyes, I'm suprised Lodge escaped punishment too, expected a tripping fine for the retaliation, especially in the aftermath the commentators and media were trying to trying to paint that soft shit as on the same level as what he copped.

I was a little worried Lodge might get something as well. I’m amazed that’s all he did after copping a knee in the head

Just goes to show the amazing progress he's made on growing as a person to have that kind of restraint, he's threatened murder over much less!

EDIT: just in case it's not clear enough, because i know to certain people it won't be, my tongue was planted firmly in cheek while writing that.

Yeah Flanagan should have got more. Its a sneaky little park footy knee.
Lodge also should have got something too for his kicking/tripping effort.

Lodge deserved a fine, but Flanno yeah got extremely lucky. Imagine if he did that to Cameron Smith or Cooper Cronk or one of the more popular players. Realistically Sim's hit on Morgan was far less and he misses origin.

I personally didn't think it was too bad and the grading was fairly accurate IMO.

It wasn't the UFC style knee that a lot of people are reporting.

Ironically if Lodge doesn't react, I don't think anyone notices that knee.

All Lodge deserves is a highly commended award for not bashing the bloke.

I thought Flanno should've gotten more for the knee too.. like MOTM for example Laughing

If it were anyone else, he probably wouldn't have thrown the knee. Made 12 tackles and only one knee.

Fuck Lodge. I'm sure he's killed more braincells on his own dime than Flanno's knee, if he's even got any left.
