True but getting keepers in who play a bye rounds is always a good strategy or waiting til their bye plays out and then grabbing them ie Harris, McInnes, SJ, Aitken etc after R13

cash outs to guys playing byes is also usually helpful

Agreed mate, keepers who play byes should be your first target but not at the expense of your final team makeup.

Who am I kidding, I'm trying to make excuses for why I shouldn't shell out overs for taupau lol!

Sam Hoare worth a shot as a once off cashout this round?
Surely in about the same boat as Tuala now that Linnett is back on the scene?

I'm taping my hand to the desk in order to not bring in Kapow mate.

Reckon he goes over 60 today with ease but long term I'm holding strong!

I'm assuming if I'm meant to stay in touch with the guys at the top I need to be very boring with my trades atm. Most will have Taupau so I will join in for now.

Having second thoughts on Dugan and thinking I should just spend the Cash on Trbo (next week)

Bit of a left field option is C Walker, though after his mum passed away has struggled on the field.
Would be a big gamble to bring him in but he is a career 46 avg player in the halves so has pedigree and priced at a 37 avg

Really want to gamble on captaining Koro but Taumalolo running at Hodgkinson and Gojeff doesn't bear thinking about.

I’m captaining Koro. He will play like he did against the broncos I reckon. Lolo for 55, Koro for 73 Beer

I am looking at WFB, had Dugan there and with Mitchell/Marsters/Fonua have plenty of cover in the Centres
MCK is not really needed to be fair

    Alright, three trades done.

    JFH to Matterson
    Isaako to tuala
    Inglis to TMM

cant believe it took me this long to get matto, but this will give me some flexibilty in the halves (and cover there is adam reynolds goes down haha).

I reckon tuala will hold the centre spot.

TMM will probably go back to bench. Dont like any other options and i reckon cows win tonight, so hoping for a good score. Cant bring myself to get an intentional red fot after this week (eg hoare), so punt on TMM it is.

Thats put 322k in the bank. Will go Murray to Cleary next week.

    Oh nice one. Sorry mate.

I've sold Hiku this week so I need a starting CTR, Fonua moves to back up

Don't do it! You've missed his big scores and is currently way over priced. You would have a better chance of gaining on the teams ahead of you if you find better $/point like brown or Sturgess and put the money saved into another upgrade

Cook to Kapow with the C. There I did it,let the chips fall where they may. Other trades JFH to Friend and Kennar to Fonua gives me fifteen starters albeit with Gossy and Nicholls.
