Wanting to trade out either Dufty, Hiku or Thompson. Thinking that order currently, Hiku is a centre for me so would have less options to trade (Lawton the only guy I would get in probably, but would need to be named at 9 and Luke out for 4 weeks+). Liking RTS and Rapana obviously at WFB.

Mark Nicholl's is starting to make some cash, which is a bit annoying with a few cashies looking likely this week! If someone looks unmissable I'll get rid of him.

Other than that, already have Rein and Cogger, no Croker or Kennar so all good.

I can go Doughie & Kenner to RTS and Cogger/Haas. Worth doing?

You are talking about Rein right?

From memory the majority were suggesting he was a buy. Those that were were citing reasonable arguments based on Peats quick return from injury + conservative estimates of Reins PPM alongside the potential for him not to get 80 minutes.

But hindsight is a wonderful thing huh, and like I said earlier, myself and others conducted sensitivity analysis on Rein's output, and I don't recall a single person looking at scores above 50 let alone 70.

Everyone has to make their own decisions here though, and own them, and at the end of the day there is so much guess work and so many assumptions that go into all analysis that most decisions could well go either way.

With respect to Rein though I only recall a minority few that were against bringing Rein in and their rationale was at best based on very conservative assumptions.

If Lawton gets named at nine, I'm calling trap. Steer clear.

There are just too many options for back-up hooker floating around the Warriors and there's too high a chance he'll share minutes with Tevaga or whoever else is floating around.

Warriors have Tevaga, Sam Cook, Lawton, Cherrington and there's the outside chance someone like Beale plays a 20min+- role off the bench too.

I haven't looked at Thompson's BE but I too am surprised his name has come out several times as a trade out. Isn't he going ok? And assuming he is, then the fact he plays 13 is reason enough for me to hold him. I'll have a look at how he's tracking price wise though now.

I think Dufty is definitely a trade out. Hiku too but that's a bit more of a luxury trade given he's your C and no-one really stands out right now in that spot.

FYI I'm dumping Dufty this week, pencilled in RTS but again no-one is really jumping out at me. Rapana doesn't look the same player as last year to me so I think he is a risk. I have Thompson, so could just slot him in to WFB and go a CC. TTurbo is appealing given his price trend but not until he gets back to his best.

These are the tough weeks to trade IMO: when the trade outs are obvious but the trade ins are not....

Is Ramien worth a trade in over Latrell? I want to trade Isaako/Hiku but not sure if Ramien keeps his spot when the Sharks get back to full strength.

I just think Thompson has peaked, a couple average scores which includes tries adds to that fact. It would be a luxury trade out really. Everyone has Hiku and Thompson, so would be a risk to trade them out if they ever go big. Dufty is a bit of POD who can score big scores, and is in a good side. It's just the fact Widdop and Hunt are both dominant halves, so Dufty gets shunned.

At the poster a few above re Rein, some were being pessimistic, and fair enough. Peats could be back this week for all we know. I got him because I thought he'd do well regardless of how long Peats is gone for, which is the case luckily enough.

I'm surprised too. His scores don't deviate much from where he is priced at and unless people can bring in Teddy/TTurbo for him, I view the trade as a waste.

RTS doesn't play 13 and Raiders just aren't using Rapana anymore Sad

So after updates the end result is i dropped two positions overall from last week (from 250 to 252). Talk about a par score.

    Thompson > Taupau
    Havili > Watson

Both trade outs seem a bit premature. This is going to be a tough week.

    My mid-season cashies:

Rein - $137k in two rounds - Excellent
Maloney - $230k in four rounds - Excellent
Gos - $80k in three rounds - Poor (could've been OK if continued without injury for a few more weeks)
JMK - $164k in five rounds - Fair and hopefully he continues for a few more rounds
Cogger - too early to tell

Based on that, I am pretty happy with my trades in recent times. Averaging out at almost bang on 150k with hopefully some more money to be made out of anyone who isn't injured!

Eseese stats were markedly up this weekend. Role change with two new halves??

    Just seems tempting.

I believe Saifiti had a knock and potentially HIA? Cant remember 100% but just recall being filthy that my opponent had Essee.

I really feel like I am losing pace with the rest. I got 874 on the weekend but my mid season cashies are underperforming-ish.
    Gosi - GONE now
Sorenson - doing alright, making money
Sua - doing alright, making money. Injuries are good for his prospects.
Jacks - Going steady, one big game and could see a nice price rise

I just don't know where to go from here.

On another note Katoa crossed the line...Again, on the weekend for the Jets.
