@Reklaw, I'll be home in about half an hour and have maintained sobriety which on mad Monday in Guangzhou is surprising. I'll have a look then and give ya some feedback tho don't discount what Badger has said.

@Code Delta, in Aus I don't smoke... Ok, socially, but that's bumming one or two here and there off mates when at the pub once a week. In China it costs me 20c a packet and I'm at the pub nightly. Also, I am married so don't get to photograph birds without a stiff slap on the wrist... Lol

Oh the decisions this week. Seems I can turn Lodge into anyone except Macca or SJ.

I'm leaning Smith, although he doesn't help R13. Maybe it's better get someone playing an Origin round. I dunno. This could be my last big keeper upgrade for a while, and it's probably better to just get Smith when we're still so far out from Origin.

100% footy apparently DCE has a fight with Hastings at training last week. Whole manly team have said they don’t want to play with him for the rest of the year and Barrett has told Hastings and his manager that he needs to find a new club

@Reklaw you can wait on the Dufty > SJ trade. SJ likely to lose some coin, Dufty should stay around the same. I'd probably pull the trigger anyway if I was you because I'm impulsive lol

Pre TLT I am not trading. Have saved two so far, this would make four. Happy to pass on Su'a and Gos. LCroker, Doueihi, TPJ, Rochow and Kennar can all stay. Hoping at least one of Murray/NBrown can play this week.

Contrary to what I thought when I first saw the draw, I think bye planning is actually harder this season. Mainly because all the guns I want in my final team play round 13 and so few in 17. Round 17 players I am interested in being in my final side: 5 (and I already own 2).

I think I am just going to build my final team as quickly as possible (minus the three R17 players I am missing to come in R14 onwards) and throw up a terrible score in the second bye round with no fucks given. That is my new bye planning strategy for 2018.

You and me both mate, I think its more about upping JMKs average scores. I could always upgrade a fwd instead (my props are weak as).

First thing I notice is your FRF mate. What are you going to do with Fifi and TPJ? As I've already said, TPJ at least a weeks hold for me (and of course is Fifi is short term then he is as well) but that doesn't really help you this week. You could move Kikau into the startin squad but that will mean you have to play JMK. Not a terrible thing to be fair. Then the trades that you are looking at would work. Downgrade Lodge and turn Rochow into Surgess.

The only problem with all of that is that it's going to leave you rather light on in your reserves. You would also need to play one of Kennar or TPJ in your 17. I think for most guys looking at carrying Murray AND Fififta you're going to be light somewhere. Here's hoping for your sake that Murray is playing this week or you'll really be light on.

In short, I think you definitely need to get a forward in while you have Murray and Fifita out, especially if you are going to downgrade one of your other options to a second rower.

He also has JFH as DPP now

Copely is a trap mate. Looks like a trap, smells like a trap and feels like a trap then chances are, it's a trap. In as much as Inglis has been shit, he at least has history and pedigree as a decent fantasy option, albeit not showing it this year. Copely does not.

Bird scored 40 at half where he got into the game. If he is playing at CTR he isn't worthwhile. His scores there have been 10, 37 and 16. Less than inspriring really. If Niko goes back to 14 (or fucks off altogether which I'd prefer) then he'd be worth a look.

Capewell could be good. Hard worker, gives 100 but security is the main concern for him. Looks like the longest any of the Sharks guys will be out is 4 weeks. If that's the case then i can't see it being a viable move.

Really, in that 300-500k bracket there is very VERY slim pickings. I may be forced to go BJ or Scott which are both very sideways but I am not going to hold Inglis much longer. I could alternatively move Dugan into the CTR's with Mitchell and downgrade Inglis altogether but that would mean I'd need to run Thompson or JMK in my 13.

    Running JMK/Thompson >= Inglis IMO

Sounds like he meets the requirements to be captain of the joint.

True, giving him some responsibility and under Bennett with the Broncos culture would set him back on track.
