Cheers mate. If I decided to keep him for now though, would you play him or Maloney in your 17? Yeah, my team's turning to shit Bang

    RD1 - 666
    RD2 - 787
    RD3 - 817
    RD4 - 886

Surely I am due for a 900+ this week off that trend

Yeah I quite like him to score well this week. If he can add his solo try to his now 50-60mins (instead of 30 max) returns should be solid.

Unlike that force-fitting sezer shamozzle the first 3 rounds, I don’t see hingano ever getting any more than 25-30mins which is a nice boost for Havili

I do recall him playing lock for a bit earlier in the year I think. With Ricky shuffling around the team maybe he could play there for a bit?

    That's a nice upward trend so I'd say 950.

Theres an article on the Tele saying Haynes injury much worse than first thought. I cant read it due to paywall, but may make auva'a more tempting (cant remember who suggested him)

Auva'a has been playing all year? What makes him tempting just because hayne has gone?

RD 1 he scored 21, RD 2 he scored 3, RD 3 he scored 30 and RD 4 he scored 39. Both 30 and 39 were inflated by tries.

Personally i have no interest in him, it was just a pointer for whoever it was who was considering him.

Auva'a played centre this week as opposed to wing every other round

I'm thinking about selling N. Brown purely because of how soft the Eels hookers are & how they can't even last out the game which means Brown fills in at hooker because I think the team list has no hooker/utility on the bench. They have Moeroa, Scott, Terepo & Williams on the bench with King in reserves but I think this is for insurance if Pritchard doesn't pass his concussion tests. Last week Brown had to play the 2nd half at hooker which is not good as he making no running metres.

Random wrote:My halves situation is. Doueihi, JMK, Cartwright, and Croker.

I have decided I want to rectify that with 2 Keeper HLF's essentially.

So I can purchase any two halves in the competition.

I am leaning towards D. Cherry-Evans and S. Johnson. Johnson's injury is a concern and DCE jumping into Origin a worry, but they are perhaps the biggest stand outs in the position. I have been weighing up Koroisau as well but I just can't pick him up yet with uncertainty.

    Koroisau breakdown:

Round 1 - Massive tackle count of 66, but he played 90 minutes due to Golden Point.
Round 2 - Manly destroyed the Eels, and picked up 4 more TB's, compared to his other games average. He also scored a try. His minutes dropped down to 63 minutes.
Round 3 - This is the biggest concern. A decent score of 41 points. He had a strong game, with less missed tackles than the previous two. Also picked up an Offload and a strong tackle count of 37. He only got 49 minutes.
Round 4 - Score of 49 is good, and he had 78 minutes, but the Manly side ended up with two guys down. With Tanginoa going down incredibly early.

It is just hard seeing him getting enough minutes to put him at anything more than a mid-tier guy with a few great scores here and there.

So.. talk me out of DCE or Johnson.

Agree on Koro. Don't see him as a keeper at halves (or hooker) mainly due to his minutes likely not giving him the chance to consistently score well (48+).

DCE is 3rd in line behind Cleary and Johnson as my ideal HLF keepers. Are you happy to trade him again or be content with not having the best halves by end of season. Might play Origin or be available for rd 13. On form he's playing Origin. QLD selection policies probably don't have him though. Likely as expensive as he will be all season but should be more consistent esp. picking up goal kicking. Dont see him losing a heap of cash. Can he play/score well with defences more focused on him with the loss of Tommy Turbo?

SJ is injured. When he plays injured he doesn't goal kick or seem to have the attacking flair that helps him rack up big scores. Last game was a score of 30. Current BE is 67 so with a quiet game or two could be a much more appealing price to snap up. Doesn't play rd 13.

The tier beneath them isn't too consistent or exciting but includes bye friendly C. Walker, A or J Reynolds, Townsend, Norman or K Nik, Mbye, Milf if byes aren't a worry. For a cheap cash making interim trade may I tempt you with Maloney?

But honestly, those are the two best halves available for the next 6-10 weeks. If that's worth spending an extra $150k for now (i.e. not optimally timing your trade ins) go nuts. The above is just trying to show you if you have the cash I'd do that straight away.

Anybody think my Griffin -> Arrow trade is premature?
Just a feeling Griffin is nearing his peak, only been playing 80 mins due to injuries.
If he goes back to an intended 60 mins and 30 points he is dried up as a cow, and Arrow looks a certain keeper. Levi's inclusion also make me worried.

Only other way I can get Arrow in is to sell Smith, which I am hesitant to do.

Opening draw was somewhat difficult but on paper gets a bit easier. Assuming they start to click he should start to put a few decent scores and maybe limp in to round 13. Or am I way too optimistic?

I don't like Thurston as he is too inconsistent. I think he will balance out throughout the season, but he is by no means the top-tier gun.

I could be wrong, because im only basing this on what ive read around here. But Griffen is seen as an 80min player regardless of injuries around him?

One thing not consider with the Korisau talk is that he doesn't have to be one of the top 2 or 3 halves to be helpful in your final squad.

If you look at the likely build up of your final squad, I think you can in-fact justify a spot for him in that team as the 18th man, and importantly as half cover, which I think might be quite important to have. Im planning to have a DPP WFB/Half player as my 18th man cause I'd imagine I'll have at least one hooker on my bench, so the Hook part of Korisau's DPP is likely wasted.

But my point really is, while he is unlikely to be one of the top 3 halves, his production could well warrant a spot in your final squad.

Playing 13 is a bonus assuming no Origin.

While I don't think Griffin is necessarily a 60 minute player, if you see Arrow as a keeper then make the trade.

Halfbacks scores this year against the Titans

    Rd1, Sam Williams - 48 in a losing effort
Rd2, Sean Johnson - 78 in a winning effort (kicked goals)
    Rd3, Ben Hunt - 65 in a winning effort
    Rd4, Kodi Nikorima - 52 in a losing effort

Stats say I should be captaining DCE this week, so I shall.
