What did RFM end up scoring. I took him out for Arrow lol. Currently 604 with N. Brown, Arrow, Cartwright & Kikau/Havili to play.

What usually = a decent score in NRLF? Trying to get an understanding of it being my rookie season and all.

RFM scored 61. Scored a try and kept running sideways and grabbed some tackle breaks.

Hard to say in Round One. 800 will have you ahead of the pack. Anything over 700 is ok, I think.

Once you're team's set after a few months you should be looking for 900s and 1000s.

First couple of weeks are always a bit rough.. I'd say 750+ to start, but want to be hitting 900's ASAP.. Jagging 1000 is a rare treat.. I think I've done it either twice or thrice in now my 4th year.

Having a look at RFM's scores I'm not sure if i wont just leave him out of my team. The base stats just don't jump out at me as someone i HAVE to get in. If I already had him I'd be happy to keep him but strikes me as someone who i burn a trade for and he goes on to score mid 30's as soon as i do. Then again, I'll probably cave.

555 with Brown, Whitehead, Carty and Kikau to play. Feel like I'm well behind the 8-ball. Although that last game at least brought my ranking under 20,000 lol

I think he will be used as an attacking weapon on the edge like Kaufusi was last season. He wasn't used much in the first half but was more involved in the second.

having a decent week, my best start to the year in some time, which isn't saying much when you compare it to the car crashes that that were the last couple years, so far i've picked a few golden cashies then offset them with some underperforming guns Laughing, at 692 with Arrow & Carty to come, and Kikau in EMG to hopefully net me some more big money

714 with Kikau, Arrow and Cartwright left. 800 is the goal and my best start in this comp.

Apologies to all the lads in L1 for stinking up the League. Willing to take any advice/constructive criticism on my team so I'm not dragging the rest of you down.

Some additional info on how to achieve those 900's, you're looking for players in these positions with averages around these marks:

    HK: 50+ (Cam 60).
    FR: 50+
SR: 50+ (Often get a few guys around 55+)
    HF: 50ish
    CT: 40+
    FB: 45+

As a rough guide.. Holding a 40 average WFB is fine, as is like a 35ish CTR if you're confident in them and would rather spend the cash on a Cam, Taumalolo, Fifita, Gallen, Burgers etc..

Roughly translates to an overall 50 average from 18 players (captain doubled) which is 900.

I feel like I have definitely fallen short of my goal, unless Cotric bags a few tries for me tomorrow. Any tips lads on how to pick myself up for next week? I know it’s only first round but it is really hard coming from behind in fantasy.

Players like Mitchell, Murray, Lichaa — should I hold on for a tad longer and hope I get some good scores.

Katoa - how to upgrade when he is already 212k. Should I DG cotric to Leilua to give me some cash to jump on another cashie?

Rest of my squad did pretty good.

Any advice would be good thanks guys

Storm I would hold all 3 of those guys though depending on what needs fixing.
Murray was always a mid term buy so will need to hold him for a bit but will get more minutes over time and will repay you there. Not worth 2 trades being wasted .

Lichaa is a wait and see but give him a few weeks as he isn’t losing cash

Mitchell scores 28 doing absolutely nothing.. Having a player like that isn’t bad as he will average higher than that with some 50/60’s hopefully giving you that 40+ average you are probably looking for

So all 3 are holds, look elsewhere to fix things

RFM playing 80 will score 40+ on average plenty of cash left in him

Still plenty to come for my lads so hard to judge scores.

Nathan Brown, Arrow, Cartwright, Croker, Edwards

No trades planned so far until we get more info on Katoa. Kennar already covering CTR/WFB so able to sit tight and see how it plays out
