Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that Josh Aloiai has signed a new playing contract with the club.
The new deal will see Aloiai remain at Wests Tigers until the end of the 2021 season.

Happy for Rowdy to play on another year or two, but an Aloiai/Eisenhuth/Matterson starting backrow would be close to the best we've had in a decade I reckon.

He's never going to be origin, but brings the ball back well, spend the exctra coin on a big winger and your set has a roll on. Then as you say, do something about the mid ranger pack

fuck me the knights got dudded in that game. The decision to bin ponga for a shoulder charge at the end there was absolutely amazing. The refs are so scared of fucking up, that they fuck up just about every big call

Agree that call was shit. The rub of the green overall wasn't massively in favour of the Tigers though. Highly unlikely the Ponga call affected the result. The Tigers have copped it the last few games and I'm a strong believer that the calls even out over the course of a season.

Ponga led with his elbow and hit him square in the head. Should get at least 4 weeks. It's a pity they said shoulder charge because he will get off. But he was attempting to stop a try said Billy Slater every fuckin time. No coincidence he just came out of QLD origin camp. Leaving a bloke convulsing on the ground is not part of the game.

I agree it doesnt change the result, but far out .. since when do we judge shit on whether someone is injured or not. If he gets up and runs off for the tap its never even looked at or replayed. Yes, his elbow glances his head - but you see that shit prob 10 times a game and its never mentioned. Just be consistent with the calls, dont let one go then bin another.

You go from Kikau barely touching someone and getting 2 weeks, to the slaters and duftys that do blatant shoulder charges and they don't even get charged.
They have fucked themselves so much by allowing slater to play in that GF that they just have to ignore shoulder charges in try-scoring situations now, it's fucking comical.

Ponga doesnt even hit him in the head with his elbow. Its his upper arm, with hunt coming in from behind as well, and then his head hitting the ground. Its a mixture of forces that made it nasty, there is no actual elbow to the head.

I dont know how your elbow can be pointed directly at the ground and you can be leading with the elbow. Its the shoulder/upper arm that hits.

That didnt directly cost us the game but as a fan there were a number of crucial calls that didnt go our way that played a fair part. Newie just leak too many points and have too many errors. It happened last week - someone dropped the ball attempting to score a try when we were looking good and then it just went down hill from there.

I cant believe Gavet and Buhrer still get a run they are both fucking terrible. Levi has lost the running game that sparked our good run earilier in the year and if he cant find it again, he can fuck off and we should play Watson at hooker for the majority of the game.

Must say the refs have turned the NRL in to a shit show of late
