You'd be planning on Taupau doing well enough tonight to captain a on-player wouldn't you.

I'd wait and see what happens tonight, and have a think about it tomorrow if needed.

Surgess probably next best if you don't trust Fifita and don't want to gamble on a back.

Yeah Im hoping Taupau goes well enough so that its not an issue. Just thinking ahead to the possibility Taupau hits a 30 or something...

14 players this week, was going to try and get 15 or 16 but I'm already screwed for round 17 so not making any trades.

Captain Taupau over Fifita and Taumalolo.

@Milchcow or anyone else. Sorry last minute question. At what stage do the bye players lock? Its not at the beginning of the round right? Just wondering if I can hold off on trading a player on a bye until after the first game. Cheers.

Could put the vc on Taupau and then have a second shot if he goes crap with Fifita or someone else...

14 is pretty solid mate. I've made a concerted effort to max out this round so I'll be playing 17 and hopefully make up some ground. It will of course be at the expense of round 17 where I suspect I'll only get 10 at best...

Bye players have always remained unlocked during the round in the past.

It's a bloody awkward number to be honest.

Fifita has exceeded it 6 times out of 11 games this season and given it SHOULD...be a tight contest will hopefully see the game out.

Fifita averages 64 so for me its a no brainer, even if he wasn't rumoured to be playing short minutes this week.

I'll take the risk free 64 any day!

Happy I bought in Alvaro this week. Matterson being out tomorrow is annoying.

692 Thompson to play. 16th overall.

830 for me and 12th for the round, up to 87 overall. Could have been better if I had a better captain choice (Taupau) but can't complain!

Hey guys, whats up with the eliminator? Despite playing a week or so ago (and winning) I apparently now have a bye this week?

As for overall, I went all in for round 17 and got a decent enough score but not really as good as I should have given how much I sunk into it (gonna pay for it in round 17). My goal for this year again has to be to settle to aim for top 10 (gonna be mighty tough though) - 1st is miles away now!

Whats the go with Matterson? also any major things I should know? been away for three weeks and trying to catch up!

I have a bye this week also and I'm ranked 700 odd over all and there's only 2000 people left in it. Last week I came in at 450, so your guess is as good as mine, but I would have thought I had an opponent this week. No idea about Matterson, he was expected back, I think people are rage trading him over in the fantasy thread.

I thought I had a bye too until I noticed that it had automatically loaded the r13 page. Had to change to r14 and hey presto, I had an opponent

Matterson is struggling to get over the effects of concussion from a few weeks ago.
Not sure if there is a real time frame on when he'll be back, but they are going to be careful and wait until he is 100%
