    Tedesco Ponga GI Hiku Katoa

    $115k in the bank.

Want to get in Kikau and potentially Murray before prices go up, as well as upgrade Croft if he doesn't perform.  Any suggestions of who to get rid of?

Nicholls and Lodge maybe for Kikau not sure which one Jas, not sure how ya fit Murray in though but I am looking at Williams for Croft depending on how they fair this weekend, will need enough cabbage to fit Munster in somehow maybe for Croft.

Should I trade T Sims to Griffin, or give Sims another chance? I'm worried that he didn't get much game time, which I should have probably predicted, eh?

    I think you should.

    I got 778

    Cook (Havili)
    Fifita, Surgess (Lodge, Nicholls)
Lolo (c), Brown, RFM (Griffin, Kikau, Leilua)
    JT, Croft (Cartwright, Croker)
    Latrell, Hayne (Isaako, Milne)
    Turbo, Teddy, Ponga (Calker, Katoa)

I went heavy in WFB because I didn't like any rookies there. Katoa can just rot for now. Started Milne, now I wish I'd gone with Doueihi instead.

Obviously my halves sucked, wish I'd just gone Moses like I did in every other comp. Think I'll sit on trades this week.

Thinking Leilua>Williams next week. Havili or Milne>Doueihi the following week. Can only afford Rochow if I do an extra trade such as Croft>Williams/Moses, see how they go this round.

Doueihi not as important in this comp.

Needing 3 games for a price rise, that might be all he gets. Wish I'd started with him over Lomax as my NPR CTR, but hindsight is easy.

I think T Sims to Griffin is OK. Griffin looks like being a solid pick. More upside than Sims so get him in now

Might give my team another round. Latu the only one that I'd trade this round. Can get griffin in. But will probably bring in nicholls to free up cash for a katoa upgrade.

Was about to say the same. I'm carrying Lomax on the pine too. He can stay there he isn't bothering anyone

SST downgrade to Griff frees up cash for
    Katoa upgrade to Thommo

    was more important.

I know what you mean, but I reckon he could turn out to be one of the most impertinent player. As you say, it would be subject to him getting 4-6 games in the first 8 weeks or so, BUT, he's basically bottom $ in a position where there are no other bottom $ guys who look like getting game time, AND by all accounts he could well be a good fantasy scorer, good enough to actually start him in C if you wanna take a risk.

    Watch this space I guess.

Great thing about this comp is if you don't get him this week you have 2 more weeks to get him if he comes good.

Doueihi will still be bottom dollar after round 3 when everyone else has had their first price change.

No need whatsoever to rush him in

I got johnson and essess in this week for niko and SST. Johnson looks good with green there and I think will hit another level this year.

It's nice having room before price changes, allows you to chase points to get a reasonable start to the year.

Yeah, of course, I thought that was implied in my post. Perhaps I didn't get the context of your original post. Im just saying that I think ultimately he could be extremely important in this comp. Certainly not saying he should be rushed in - I've had him from the start anyway.

My man Vaughan with 2 50,s scores is pulling his weight, will drop in price but a keeper so not too worried about that. Widdop and Fifita with solid starts to the season also, havent got either but will be keeping a close eye on Widdop over the next few rounds.
Aubs, Manu and RFM , my only starters tonight.

He did post a while back saying he wouldn't play this year for health reasons (he suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome I believe)

Hopefully he's doing OK< and pops in when circumstances allow to say hi.

I can imagine ST would be taking great delight in watching the fantasy platform struggle again this year .

If he was around we could get weekly reminders about the stability of the VSDT platform

I must admit I prefer this platform but that might be because I,m an old fart and dont like change for the sake of change, but how they(Fantasy)can get it so wrong all the time is quite bemusing.

Apologizes if this has been posted. Don't think is has, thus this.
After round 1 some overall league standings,
    NRL FF L2 are 4th.
    NRL FF L1 are 2nd.
    Bullbenders Leagure are 1st. cheer

Are there any other leagues that are relevant to us here?

The above should encourage everyone in those leagues to play the year out please. You may end up not doing as well as you wished but giving up with say six rounds left will rob these leagues of points.
