I agree - but they filmed the whole thing and apparently nothing went "wrong"
Yes if they turn off the camera and gang bang her against her will then its rape - but at least they woudl still have the video of her saying she consents to stuff - which would hold at least some weight

I was told this story about some of them gang banging this local girl... they filmed it all and at the start they got her to say "I consent to everything that is about to happen" with her licence out lol.
Her father was a copper and found out about it all but nothing ever came of it (nor should it). They were ahead of their time though lol

At the time I thought it was ridiculous and quite funny but its almost like the players HAVE to do that sort of thing these days to protect themselves if they are going to "party" like that.

    Need to take a leaf from LeSean McCoy's book. Before he left Philly, he had an invite only party with the guest list;

    - Females Only, no +1s.
    - Had to register before hand and provide social media profile
    - ID checked on entry against register
    - NDA signed on entry
    - Phones confiscated on entry
    - Party location not provided until 1 hour before start and only to accepted guests

Im sure all they did was read* books** and discuss*** world politics****

Yep, been a part of that... and you're paying a lot of money to lawyers that you don't get back at the end of it.

And did the lack of evidence mean the charge wasn't bought before a court?

    No it did not.

Edit: Luckily for me it didn't last long but if it had dragged on for months or years I'd imagine i'd be murderous.
A very good friend of mine also spent years defending a charge that would have had him suspended by the NRL under their new rules. This friend was on CCTV footage in another place at the time of the offence so for those of you who think that people are never charged without sufficient evidence the world isn't perfect and just doesn't work that way.

geyer said its not her, looks like her in the photo/vid but I cant really tell.
Where does the NRL draw the line here? It appears that nothing they have done is illegal, appears that everyone has consented to it all ... but now its all out in the public and its yet another massive story.

They clearly know they were doing something wrong in the video where they are essentially kicking that chick in the head - as they are all wearing shirts over their heads - but if she has consented to it all then its a no issue.

Wonder if someone will release the player X snorting coke off player Y's pecker or will they save it for when they need to derail a teams season

How many videos are there ? I just got sent another 2 and being at work I've only had a glance, but 1 is a chick on a bed, the other is not good if they are NRL players.

May charged by police over 2 of those videos. So much for Danny W saying he was blackmailed, the police believe he filmed it and sent it to someone else.

My thinking is he shared it with so called mates at the time who attempted the blackmail later.
