Carter Award for this week is getting a bit monotonous and boring. The first back to back winner of this award is now James Maloney. He beats out another team mate this week being Jack Bird on -18.

There is a fair gap back to 3rd place held by numerous players including, Whitehead, Merrin, Milford, Josh Hoffman, Tyrone Roberts and Brooks all with -14.

Has there ever been such a dominant performance in the opening rounds? Maloney wants this bad

The Carter Award this week goes to another Sharky, this time in Matt Prior. He usually stays away from the negative stats but he played 57 minutes concussed, for 28 points including 8 missed tackles and 2 penalties. He beat both Joseph Leilua (4 points, lol) and Matt Gillett on a count back having played less minutes.

He was out cold in the first minute (looked like a boxer who just got KOed) only awoken when his head hit the ground. Doctor never saw a replay because he hadn't even made it to his seat when the incident happened.

How will James Maloney respond to another Shark taking his award?

I read an article today that Maloney thinks he's getting unders and wants an upgrade for next year. Someone tweet him this link.

Prior and Peachy the only ones on there who aren't halves.

It's a shame Niko didn't go on with it, promising start 4 seconds in.

I've been away for a while and haven't updated the Carter Award for ages so here is the latest. I won't be continuing this next year as its getting too easy to predict and is less interesting.

Last Carter Award, not going to bother next year, and along with Paul Carter's memory is slowly dying.
