WAGS Autofill League

Something that was suggested on the main thread for those who can run an alternative account.

I've made a one-hit autofill team...everyone who wants to join this league start with the following team (NO trades until after week 1), and we'll see who has traded and timed their way to the best ladder position after week 26.

Joined, elephant, this concept is interesting. Do we have to have the same captain and vice this week? If so, who? And what's the 17?

This is a great concept and I'll be following with interest. Unfortunately I'm not sure I'll have the time to give it the effort it deserves so I'll be passing this year

You should do this in Supercoach instead and have a shot at the $10k, if everyone has the same team you could potentially be the highest league and get paid.

I know the purpose is to get from the same team to see who's ranked the highest at the end of the year.

But would you guys be open to making 3-4 changes to give this team a chance to actually do well in overall? I mainly mean picking the right rookies (instead of Hampton, pritchard, perrett) etc?

If everyone's keen on just going a random team, all good - excited to see how it works out!

I'd be happy to set up the league if there were a few people showing interest.

Joined - I'm the 'Worriers'.

I'd be keen to make the bench better and pick better rookies but up to everyone else.

This is a competition amongst ourselves to see who can trade to the best team. Its not a competition to see who can go close to winning overall.

Having multiple areas to improve the squad is important for this comp as it allows for differentiation around what positions/players people prioritise for their early trades

I agree, first team is a good start.

So to be clear, we can choose any 17 out of 25 and captain whoever? Sounds good. I hope we get a lot of people signing up to this so we can see what comes of different strategies.

That is fair, I would just like to make sure all rookies are named in the 17 at the very least.
