Photo evidence of training the house down. Latrell looks bloody fit, especially compared to previous years.

@Aardvark - potentially for similar rated injuries or pain levels, however I can tell you with 100% certainty that kidney stones were the worse pain level I have ever experienced. I've broken ribs, my coccyx, arms, apparently at one stage my neck albeit I didnt know and I would do all of those again at once instead of kidney stones. I thought I was going to die with how much pain I was in, it was revolting.

You forgot to mention all the hearts you've broken Brother!

Never had the pleasure of kidney stones, but everyone I know who has says the same as you, and I remember when you had one a couple of years ago.

My shoulder dislocations in my teens were the worst pain I've had. Have broken my right ankle 3 times since then and would take that over the dislocations any day.

As someone who has ruptured his testicle and had kidney stones (twice)

The kidney stone pain was 10 x worse which people don't believe me when I first mention it

I legitimately thought I was going to die at one stage with the pain, it was god awful. For months after I would get a back spasm and think it was coming back and get PTSD flashbacks.

Who can believe the start of the season is only 7 weeks away!!

Anyway, came across this article about May.  House are getting trained down left right and centre.  Looks a pick even at 60 minutes which you'd think he's bound to get, at least.

    Happy New Year brother.

I’m predicting Garrick will be last year Kiraz. Garrick will be low 600’s I think DPP and plays all major bye rounds I think anyway his run is good start him at WFB and move him to centre later.

Talk around Wayne wined and dined Tom Starling at Souths juniors too. I think that tells you what Wayne thinks of Mamozoulos. Tbh I think Wayne was banking on JMK coming but it fell through.

I believe it mate my Dad had kidney stones and he thought he was gonna die. Other thing Dad had that was also just as bad was pancreatitis

On another note mate enjoy the Australian Open I’m jealous.

Also thoughts on Payne Haas this year? Will he keep the 60mins role or does Wayne bring him back to 55mins?

Other I’m keen on is JFH now with Tohu retired and AFB gone JFH will be priced about 45 I think I can see him having about 7 points of value for sure in a 60-65mins role

Wayne is flogging them mate said they’ve been bludging for 3 years he’s calling anyone out too who slackens off at all intensity at training very high. If someone makes a mistake it’s not like JD carry on Wayne punishes the group together when they fucked up at training Wayne said down all of you 20 push ups now the next fuck up we do the same you don’t like it theirs the door. It’s exactly what we need tbh.

I mean Garrick had 3 early HIAs last year and take out those games averaged more than Kiraz. So he should be a good pick, probably in a lot of teams

Starling might be short but it seems a bit weird they make him hang around with the juniors.

Wining and dining someone at a leagues club got a LOL from me. Hopefully they went to the Chinese and Wayne was able to use his members card for the discount.

Also more pushups, that’s the secret sauce Souffs has been missing

I’m convinced the key to NRL coaching success is 10% skill/innovation, 90% a big confidence trick. You have success early, by design or more likely luck, and then basically you use that leverage so you’re more important than the players and can never lose a locker room ever. So Wayne could still be a great coach, or he could be a dinosaur asking professional athletes to do more pushups, and it doesn’t actually matter. The players will buy into because he has titles, even thought they were in primary school when it last happened.

Speaking of primary school that's the first time I can remember a coach making us do push ups for a dropped ball. Would have been about under 10s. Glad to see with all the sports science available now days coaching has come a long way

Hello lads, back to regular scheduling this year with the long preseason. Got spoiled the last two years with early site release.

Speaking of Warriors, how much interest is there in Metcalf? Injury affected average, he's said he wants to kick in play more in an interview a few months ago, and if TMM plays half over Boyd he might get goals as well?

I remember watching a Warriors preseason game a couple of years ago and Metcalf and TMM played in the halves together. From memory Metcalf was the dominant half and they played really well together. I don't think they've played together in an actual nrl game?

Metcalf on the radar for me. I assumed he’d kick goals but forgot about Boyd

Don’t think it’s a no brainer but if options are limited it can’t be as bad as everyone scooping up Flanno last season
