Souths have the hardest draw in the NRL it has been ranked no shock there happens every year. We are only team to play all last years top 4 twice. If we can make the 8 I’ll be an emotional mess in a good way.

The Storm play every possible team from last year's top 5 twice (of course, they don't get to play themselves).

Squads change, coaches change, 2025 hasn't happened yet...  I can't see what there is to complain about

But how many times do you play 2025's top 4?

This time last year, you were complaining because you had to play the Broncos (12th) twice, and only got to play the Cowboys (5th) once.

Well I expect Sharks, Penrith and Storm to be all up there again. My current top 4 is them 3 and the Dogs so that would be 8 times we play 2025’s top 4.

Roosters have equally hard draw as Souths. Face rest of top 4 twice - Broncos and Panthers in quick succession at start of season and Storm & Sharks at back end in quick succession 

Also play all major and minor byes (great for fantasy but terrible in real life with Origin representation)

Souths have the hardest draw for 2 reasons

- Don't get to play the 2025 wooden spooners at all
- Play the 2025 premiers twice

Roosters are ranked 9th for toughest draw. Fox League say they have an easier home game schedule.

Anyway is what it is guess you have to beat the best to be the best. Outside of Storm and Penrith I think we can beat anyone.

Re Fantasy Penrith and Brisbane no early byes makes it interesting whether to go Haas or Yeo.

For those who go Grant, Storm have an early bye.

So Titans, Storm, Knights, Dolphins and Wahs have byes first 5 weeks. I can’t carry more than 2 from each side. When I had 3 Storm guys going into their round 4 bye this year it ended in disaster

Eels, Manly, Roosters, Panthers byes rounds 8-11, Souths, Broncos, Tigers, Phins and Sharks no early byes I think you can carry 3 from some of those teams

Earliest byes are pretty rough - Tino and Munster are guys looking majorly underpriced so do you start with them or bring in early on 

Major guns have great bye schedules all year (Cleary, Haas, Teddy in particular)

3 teams this year playing all 3 major byes (Roosters, Manly, Dogs) and 2 teams playing 7/8 bye rounds (Cowboys/Knights) seems far more palatable bye period than previous 2 years

If you carry 3 Roosters on their stand alone byes and origin players don’t back up you could be short. It’s still a fine balance to get your head around well it is for me. Where do you stand on the Yeo v Haas debate?

I wonder if anyone will fade Cleary and go Yeo, Munster and Moses.
