R24 QUARTER FINAL RESULTS
(8 ) my tv broke 853 - 999 Talfal (17)
A huge win for Talfal, now the highest seed left in the final four and on a huge run - was 34th in the FOG at seeding and is now 9th!
(37) whall15 873 - 848 manlybeaver (29)
The Rural Jurors win the closest matchup on the QFs to advance.
(46) Revraiser 855 - 917 UKJC (43)
UKJC is an eliminator specialist - semi-finalist in 2022, quarter-finalist in 2023, at least semi-finals in 2024. Crazy run! Can he go one (or two) better this time?
(26) easytiger 1009 - 932 B/L (47)
On eliminator specialists... last years finalist ET is almost back there, and was the only remaining player to top 1000 points for the round. The charge was real and beautiful while it lasted but it's over now.

I've got the crown shined up real nice, all ready to turn that sumbitch sideways and awkwardly present it to the new champion. May still contain some crumbage, been using it as a bowl for the past 12 months. Added a bit more gold and few gemstones too. Rob's cheap ass..

Commiserations to ET, who couldn't his GF appearance last year, but got very close.
UKJC has not had his best season in overall, but is the ultimate eliminator specialist. Last year made the last 8, the year before last 4!
So the final is...

I did not expect the 17th and 43rd seed to make it this far, but that's the magic of the cup! Good luck to both of you*
(*although if UKJC could score 1 pt less than I do, so I still beat him in the L1 grand final, that would be super...)

Yeah, probably overplayed my hand in retrospect.
Anyway, no shame in losing to UKJC, always a good player, congrats on the win!

GRAND FINAL PRE TRADE TEAMS
These teams are quite different, so it should be interesting. One appears to have a clear edge IMO, unless the other have some trades... but the points still need to be scored!
There are 10 common players
Galvin (BYE), Carrigan, Yeo, Randall, Fifita, Ponga, Campbell, Iro, Gray, and KPP (maybe inj)
Then 11 players are different (Talfal - left v UKJC - right)
Plath v AFB
Koala v Watson
Grant v Hughes - maybe both rested and cancel each other out
Cook v Starling
Fog v Teddy
Ola v Curran (might be fit!)
Drink v Garrick
Kiraz v Tago
Sharpe v Howarth
Strange (maybe doesn't play) v Matto (doesn't play)
Pryce (???) v Cleary (inj)

I may be wrong but does 938 not beat 933? 
I’m currently travelling up the east coast in me Ute, visiting some friends so only have my phone to go off so can’t find whall’s team to see his score if it was a typo and you’d meant 943 anyways back to driving ! Cheers for running the comp haha been lovely
