Honestly I think if anyone's podding Murray, Koloamatangi, Olakau'atu or Fitzgibbon are better bets than McInnes is, they all have high upside and all three have good draws against poor defensive teams (which matters more for edge forwards)

Koloamatangi has the Tigers, Sharks, Dragons, Knights, bye and Roosters

Olakau'atu has the Dragons, Roosters, Panthers, Warriors, Bulldogs and Tigers

Fitzgibbon has the Raiders, Dolphins, Bulldogs, Rabbitohs, Sharks and Dragons

This is pretty much unsubstantiated rubbish which is anecdotal at best: "against poor defensive teams which matters more for edge forwards"

Edge forwards have the least variation for fantasy points conceded of any position...
The Eels have conceded the most statistically this season at +2.3 above the 44.6 average, the Bronco's the least at -2.6

The conceded average differential for those matchups you sited above are:

    Koloamatangi +0.5

    Olakau'atu +0.6

    Fitzgibbon -0.2

As a comparison point the Knights have conceded 7.7 points more than average to Fullbacks and the Panthers -8.5 under average
It shouldn't surprise anyone, but those types of match-ups are more likely to create a positive point scoring affect for outside backs, but even then it's hardly a guarantee of anything in any given week

I would but you've gotta be in the top 1000 to be considered one of the special 2%

I'm one of the special 99.55% of people not in the top 1000.

Just the one: Bula to Murray

    Team lines up as this:
    Grant
    JDB Hopgood Murray
    Bateman Fifita
    (C)leary Hynes
    Garrick 15-point-Manu
    Drinky Ponga TedesNO

    Munster Cook Papali'i Lemmy/Kris loop
    SJ Harris Colquhoun

FWIW I think Murray is 10 points better than McInnes on average (when he's playing)

I don’t know why I’m so against getting Edward's. In two trades I can sell Moses/Hands for DCE/Edwards. It doesn’t look flashy, but realistically they're the simplest and safest trades to make.

Both are guaranteed to play and I don’t have to worry about minutes watch with Murray or McInnes.

I guess for our match up it doesn't matter if I go Murray or Garrick.

Differences I have are Horse, Penis, DCE, Null who I'm playing regardless and Hands/Avo loop. I don't have Cook, IPap, Munster, Kris, Murray.

You have slightly more fire-power, plus I went Hynes over Cleary for cappo.  Could be a close one though.

Edit: Actually I think you should win quite comfortably with the differences.

I think they are pretty damn good trades if you ask me.

They are. That’s what kills me lol I’ve been trying everything in my power to squeeze Garrick in when Edwards is sitting right there, as cheap as he gets.

Yeah would much rather Garrick but DCE is a decent trade off, unless you go someone cheaper than DCE and Garrick.

Thats where McInnes were to come in (Murray out of reach).

    Essentially it’s McInnes/Garrick vs DCE/Edwards

Ah yeah gotcha. That's actually a tough one. I think DCE edges it for me.

I think it could go either way
DCE and Horse are definite firepower

It'll just come down to on the day.
I'd be very happy if I lose 1050 - 1060 - here's hoping! (Although unlikely after those Roosters)

Yeah mate, I'm still stinging today looking at the 37/2. I can't believe Manu would do that to us, after everything we've been through lol.

DCE can score 120. Semi-regularly gets 80s/90s. Mcinnes' best score in two years at the Sharks is 71. I don't think Garrick is so much better than Dewards to make up for that.

Hoping this first game is at least closer than it looks like it will be.
Some kind of Cody Walker meltdown would be great too.

Go the Tigers and The Eels (and any team that can help the Warriors have a better chance at that top 4 spot)
