For me Hopgood was always going to peak at some point and be a sell (upgrade to gun) with troops returning for the Eels.

It looks like that time will be next week so totally understand holding this week, not an urgent trade, but also think it's fine to sell this week if it secures you an out and out gun.

The only thing that may change that is an injury in the Eels pack this week but I'm not going to plan based on that possibility alone.

There has been plenty of analysis on the future minutes breakdown on here this week and it's very hard to see a future where Hopgood gets the minutes to sustain keeper level scoring (and maintain his price).

Yeah, they have enough individual talent, they just need to start playing as a team.

Could use it to get Hynes but honestly not convinced he's worth the pricetag with the lower magic number this year. Definitely want him in the team but not sure he's worth giving up lots of potential value elsewhere when the Chin will do a similar job, especially because I think he sneaks into the blues at 14. Still early days and cash gen is important.

Shopping list for next week is Brailey, Tatola and maybe Dylan brown/moses. Not sure who funds these yet, will depend how the Eels rotation looks probably. Egan can probably go as well. Have only saved two trades so far. Looking to do three next week and that hopefully gets me to 11-12 playable round 13 guys and can sit on my team for a few weeks.

    Few questions to the forum:
Regarding round 13 are people targeting having a full 13?
How's everyone's team value tracking? I'm at 3k overall but team value of 12.1mil which isn't far off first's. Last year was way off the pace value wise by now.

I'm ranked 851 and team value is just under 12m, so you're better off than me there.

Yes a full 13 for round 13 shouldn't be too difficult. Round 16 & 19 look a bit trickier (rd19 Hooker stocks are a bit meh)
Squad value just over 12 mil looks on pace

Target 13, but will happily leave little a ctr or wfb.

~12.1m at 6k rank, but haven't saved a trade yet.

Tatola or cheese could be perfect downgrades for hopgood.

On Tatola, Calling all wannabe rabbitoh experts. Is it safe to assume a consistent 50+ minute role?

Also keeping an eye on Sele this week

Quality over quantity is who I’ll be targeting - Tohu, Moses/Brown, Matterson are really the only guns I’m missing (expect Koloamatangi will make origin)

The question is whether guys who will likely peak before then like Thompson, Sloan, IKatoa are worth keeping until then (I would say first two maybe given lack of WFB for R13)

Around 12.1m team value at 247 rank, with 2 trades saved

I haven't really thought about origin and byes too much, just focused on setting up the team to be in a good long term position and being patient. Of those, Matterson is the one who stands out and maybe Tohu if he looks healthy soon.

11.965m team value sitting at 612 overall and including this weeks have saved i think about 5 trades? Have 31 remaining

    Tell me about it

    20, 19, 29, DNP
Then averaged 58 over the next 10 rounds, and a final season average of 48

Are these just both too sideways and dumb?

    Latrell + Mahoney > SJ + Walsh
    Hastings + Mahoney > SJ + Cheese

Not really sure I should be letting SJ go by, even at 760. Just short of using Carty. I could just swap HSS for Knik and re-asses next week but would suck to death ride that handsome man
