This is where I’m at currently. Bringing in Hedwards this week, simply for the cash generation, because as you can see, my bank is k.

    Team for round 12:
    Grant
    Tapine, Horse, Bellend
    Host, Luki
    (C)Hynes, Cleary
    Bird, Penisini
    Ted, Miller, Bula

    Boyd, Nullnull, SJ, CNK
    Sele, Hedwards, Kniko, Oloapu

Well aware I’ll need a hooker for next round. It’s just who and for whom.

Boyd -> Robson should be an easy enough swap.

    I’M IN THE TOP 100!!!!!!!

Sitting comfortably at 98th in the FOG

But for real real, I’m probably not gonna be updating this thing throughout these next several weeks. My current rank is about where it was in round 5. Who knows, the next time I get around to this, I may be close to or in YAFSS territory.

Small update. Making just one trade this round(Cleary to Ponga). I’m left with 7 trades and a bank of $573K. I could make a trade for Moses, but all the “talk” has me staying away, at least for now.

Numbers with current squad and assuming Cook returns to Origin.
    Round 16: 11
    Round 17: 16(easy fix)
    Round 19: 13
    Round 20: 18

Should mention rounds 17 & 20 are with Origin players backing up.

    Current rank of 1406.

I’ve my first red arrow since round 8. Went down to 854 from 852.

I cannot see any use for my final original trade, so 12 it is this week, maybe 11.

Think it’s time I give this thing a proper update, post bye rounds. Ranked 698, with 5(yikes!) trades and a bank of $30K.

    Round 21 Squad
    Grant
    De Belin, Haas, Horse
    Fifita, Bateman
    Hynes, SJ
    Manu, Penisini
    Bula, Ted, CNK

    Hopgood, Ponga, NAS, Harris

    Blore, Garrick, Averillo, Lemuelu

I suppose, my main issue this week is who plays and who doesn’t. CNK or Garrick? Do I find some faith that Tohu bounces back with a 50+ score, or do I see Blore doing well and perhaps scoring a meaty against the Dragons and possibly outscoring Harris by ten points or more? Can I win my Eliminator match this week with this team, or do I do some silly buggers? I have to double check, but I’m sure I know who my opponent is, and we have very similar teams, except for maybe three or four differences.

It’s been a fun couple of months of not taking this too seriously and just hoping whatever I did worked itself out in the end. If all goes accordingly, next week will take two trades to finalise the team and then hang on for dear life with three trades and a broke bank to the finish line.

Thanks for taking a bit of your time to read this update. Coffee

    Grant to Simpkin
    Haas to Sele
    Bateman to Curran
    Hynes to Wighton

Those trades should set you up nicely. Oh by the way we are facing off in the Eliminator this week so take these trades with a grain of salt 😜

Haha team looks good man, good luck

lol! I might just go for it and bring in both Simpkin and Simpkins! Lol.

In all seriousness, I expect this to be one of the better matchups. Good luck to you! Cheers

I’ve had two really excellent analysis of trades over the season. I’m not going to go into that kind of detail with my trades. However, I will put my hand up in saying that I was one of the idiot sandwiches who brought in ITT in round 2. Trading him in for IKatoa, in hindsight, was not the right play. Now, that along with what you see below, is this year’s winner of my team’s boneheaded play of the season.
