If you had to choose between Wilton or Walsh, who would you want more?
Staggs will be up and down, as with most centres. He's a decent enough starting price though.

Btw this is completely un factual, he could be the same as last year average wise but I am willing to play that out
Trades have been made, only an injury will change them now

It'll be interesting to see how he goes in an attack where he doesn't need to initiate the majority of it. I would have started him last week too.
One thing about him if, I recall correctly, is that the scoring changes that came in last year affected him in a negative way more than most. Won't matter if he takes his game to another level though.
Reckon those are good trades. Gotta bring players in you rate, and Walsh and Wilton seem to be those guys.GarethEllisismyDad wrote:Trades done garner and smith out
Reece walsh and Wilton in
Reason: garner had to go, he infuriated me watching and I’m annoyed I put him in, I do think in theory he could become an 80 min edge for panthers but I won’t stick around to find out
Smith is a bit of gamble to take out, I’m not massively down on him, I just want to spend his cash elsewhere, with the middles injuries roosters have I see him spending a good bit of time there and I wanted him to have a hooker role, I think he’s somewhat ineffective in middle
Walsh I’ve had high on my wish list all season, was just waiting for him to be named, this week might not be his best game but I’m picking and sticking with him so the sooner we get the show on the road the better
Wilton is an 80 min player guaranteed with Graham’s suspension, he is a bit of try scorer from that position and I think he will have a high average, 45 last week with 16 demerits, if he cleans that up and can sneak into a high 40s or low 50s average we are cooking on gas
These changes allow Ford to come onto bench instead of stuck in interchange
And means I keep staggs, who while disappointing last week is at least a ctr mid gun that allows me to choose between Alamoti and HSS on a week by week basis for his ctr partner
I’m fully aware both trades are somewhat luxury trades, but they made me feel happier and that’s the main thing (I do also think they are both players I will be happy holding long term)

I suppose it's going to depend on TLT and whether or not Trindall/Boyd are named.
For the moment, I’ve brought in Reynolds, as well, but my gut says he’ll be injured sooner rather than later. Hoping I’m wrong and my gut feeling is the tacos I had for dinner.GarethEllisismyDad wrote:Trades locked in,

Happy with 4 broncos, would love to see staggs do something
Reynolds gets the next 5 games to get his points and cash up
Awaiting Hynes to come back
Excited for the week ahead and lord willing no cock ups

Also, how are expecting TBoyd to bounce back against the Storm? With it being the Tits first home game, I expect an inspired effort, but possibly just another mid 30s score for him? It was suggested to me to play Doorey at 18, Boyd at 19. If Doorey can plod away and crap out a 40, then it would be mighty tempting to leave him at 18. A bit to consider, but back yourself if you’re confident in this setup.
Lastly, I really enjoy reading your insights and your team is coming along nicely. Hope all goes well for you this round
