Good analogy and reflects my approach,  prefer a more assertive game than LB, whilst trying not to be reckless (that's the hard part)

Haha I didn’t get the analogy, I’m assuming he means having trades left at the end of the season?

I’m not that stingy and they will be used at some stage 😂

I have 13+4 trades left LB. Planning to go hard at 17, except all of my R13 cows went well last weekend and are still making cash (even Saab made money). First world problems I know.

Tohu and Timoko on my ditch list and I might even move on May.

How many trades are you planning to use and what sort of numbers are you aiming at for R17?

I have 11+4 trades left, thinking of maybe using 7 to leave 1/week for the run home. Can’t find 7 players to trade out though, or 7 R17 players to trade in.

Yeah that’s the thing, heading into and after Round 13 I was like yep there a guys that I will definitely move onto Rd17 options (Ming, Sexton, Burton, Lolo, Butcher, Walsh) now they are the ones holding my bloody team together 😂

Luki was only playing 40 or 50mins off the bench when they're at full strength, don't see any appeal in Lemuelu.

Is there merit to the idea of trading out Haas?

    - From round 1-7 he averaged 66 minutes across 6 games. Discounting his injury affected game last week, from R8-12 he averaged 56 minutes.
    - No scores over 60 since R7 which is not great by his standards at least.
    - Dodgy shoulders.
    - The great form of Carrigan and Jensen, even Flegler is stepping up means there's been no need to play big minutes lately.
    - Is going to miss R17.

He's still a keeper I suppose but I just wonder if there's better value to be had elsewhere.

in isolation, yeah you'd probably sell him.

in my team, well i have a heap of other questionable guys to move on before Haas, and not a whole lot of trades.

Tevaga's gotta go, Butcher shelf life coming to an end soonish. I still have Hudson Young.. be nice if he keeps up his recent scoring..

    Opinions appreciated:
    TU: buy Cotter now or
    TD: buy Cotter after origin

I'm leaning TU cause he's a gun & I only have 6 trades so will only get final team players in. I know round 18 the Cowboys have the 1st game again but I think Cotter will play cause he will want to & he had a rest in round 14. Thanks.

Wouldn't be in my playing 17, just a loopable option if he hits another 57 and covers my weakest spot in my team with dual cover.

I'm trading him because I can easily get Papy in for him who should score more and should also play 17 (I will captain him that week and hope he tons up)
