I find it near impossible to trade out a bye player who is actually playing the bye. I wouldn't have traded Starling either. In fact I have him and I didn't  Evil or Very Mad . Absolutely trading him this week though. I have Cook and Robson though, just trying to determine if Mahoney nice to have or must have. Agree there's a little bit of value there potentially.

I don't think Mahoney's worth it unless you need a hooker, and you don't since you have Robson.

I would 100% buy Brown over him for 2k more.

I think I'm going to let Brown go, and instead trade Hastings and Billy Smith to Mulitalo and Mam. This means I have 15 of my final 17 done (just the two WFB spots, hoping I can get both Papy and Ted back but worst case I just get Papy and run May/Ronnie as 2nd CTR/3rd WFB)

Doing those 2 trades leaves me $103k in the bank, which means I should be able to trade Kiraz/Ponga next week for Papy/Kennedy if Papy is back.

In light of the peripheral neuropathy, Madge recommended to the Board that Brooksy keeps kicking goals...but that was right after he got sacked.

Cheers for that. I don't think I'll be buying either. I appreciate the thoughts, you're a great poster when not letting your team's lineup/performance issues affect you unreasonably.

Yeah that's fair enough. Who are you looking at getting? Or just holding the trade?

also thanks Smile I try my best to not get too pessimistic about my team, especially since I'm loaded up with pods. I just need to accept that guys I don't own will score big every now and then, and my whole strategy this year has been stacking PODs that can counter them (e.g. Cook countering Grant, Munster countering Teddy)

Probably McInnes. I think I want him and price is on the up. Would rather Klemmer but price more likely to stabilize for rd17. I'll be making at least one trade, Starling to someone.

I think it's rather widely known my position on PODs. I don't really care about that, or at least not until later in the year.

That's fair enough. I'm not 100% convinced with McInnes but he's pretty good, so have at it. Can't really go wrong with him

and yeah I somewhat agree with the PODs, the only one of them that I started the year with is Munster, and I'm more willing to chase PODs at the top end, since if they're good players they're good players. Mid tier PODs are what I've tried to avoid this year, whereas last year I got baited by a few (Corey Thompson, Morgan Harper etc.).

    Don't know that that's mid-tier, seems decidedly low-tier t me.

Mid-tier would be your good old Subguns, like Lucy, JDB, Nikora etc who are still in the 600k range but could elevate that one step to be keepers. Let's be honest, it's not 2020 so McInnis is in that group as well at the moment. But agree that you shouldn't be looking at ownership numbers there, just work out who you think will score the most from that group for their price and go for it.

Yeah subguns is a better term. I've mostly tried to stay away from the subguns this year until I've seen something to convince me they're headed to keeper status (e.g. Cotter's minutes ramping up, Ponga's past history as a keeper and decent draw etc.). Aside from Ponga, I've basically nailed all my buys at the top end, it's really just selling Teddy that's hurt me, as well as getting baited by Tass/Peoples etc.
