Thought I was still in reasonable shape for a 50 year old. Took a couple of hits in veteran rugby yesterday, and I was haunched over sucking in the big ones big time. Renewed respect for these guys.

True.  Would be hard to pick.  Cheap though.

Could be like CHN this time last year. I was sceptical that he'd keep starting and didn't get on until he was over 500k, worked out well still, but early adopters were rewarded.

Feel less confident in Elliot's ability as a footballer compared to CHN though.

Will be 400k next week and looking for a 40 average to make the cash. Averages pretty much bang on that as a starting LK with over 30/40 mins filtered. Needs to be getting 50+ mins in the middle consistently with his PPM. Only managed that in half the games so far, first and last two.

Don't think I can do it, too big of a gamble the way Raiders are going.

Cheese? Surely he’s not playing 70 minutes again?

Doesn't need 70 minutes to be value

Averaged 60 minutes last year for 53 points. While that included 11 tries it's not unreasonable for him to score 5 in a season and average mid to high 40s

Currently priced low 30s there is plenty of value

Thought you already had him which is why I didn't suggest it. Comfortably better than the other options I reckon

I’ve been set on holding Fifita even through his ups and downs, but 4 weeks out obviously makes him a definite trade out now. He becomes Angus next week. I’ve already got a few other EDG players, but it nets me some cash and gives me extra MID cover for Haas potentially being out.

Second MS on the cheese pick LB. Origin coming up and getting over that hand injury hopefully, he should be in for better minutes

Priced at 35 I agree there's some value there. Feel 2020's stats are more comparable to how things might play out this year though. Last year was almost exclusively starting at HK, while in 2020 he bounced around from FR, HK and bench mid. Averaged 41 in 51 mins applying the TB nerf.

Filtering purely by interchange appearances over 40 mins, he's averaging around 41 there too.

Could be hard to get that mid to high 40s average if he doesn't start eating into JKing's minutes soon or if Grant gets injured.

Hmm, Fifi is def a sell @ 4 weeks out.

Will need to decide between Randall/BroJo out for Hastings.

I'd go BroJo tbh. Only got a few more weeks in him anyway before they get their troops back

    Still got

Grant, Randall, Tuilagi, Hastings, Papennhuyzen, Edrick Lee, and Mann Ilias to be added. Hoping this lifts me of the bottom of lowly League Double 1 for a change.

Really happy with DWalker (1.9% ownership) and Ricotta (4.5% ownership) as PODs this week. 80 minute Ricotta is a welcome development. I wonder if it will continue?

Here is the interview. Can't work out what Cheese says but surely he doesn't get in trouble for it, seemed pretty lighthearted whatever it is...

I can’t believe I missed that Teddy train. I had been eyeing him off during that dip, but thought I could hold off just one more round to pick up the guys with lower breakevens. Was expecting to pick him up for close to 600k but with that 81 he’s put another 50k on his price and now much closer to 700k. Opportunity gone. Well done to anyone who jumped on, he really didn’t leave much of a window so it was an astute pickup.

A tad annoying too, because another loss means less chances of resting him around Origin. I looked at him briefly but more looked at Starling and Crichton. Went Crichton so seeing the other two go bigger is a tad annoying but gotta stick with the gameplan.

They had no troops last year and Teddy still got rested twice, I think it's highly unlikely that he doesn't get rested at least once.
