I had intended to not use a trade this week... but.... I have no royalty in my team and feel that bringing in a King (of the M variety) may give me more points and $120k in the bank.
Last round appears to be an outlier in terms of how he normally scores (first hit-out for an inexperienced footballer & most players dip against the storm).
I'd think he should normally be closer to 40 points from 60 minutes.
That being said, another 3 weeks of 40 points and you might only net $20k - so there's a potential opportunity cost.
The biggest upside for owning Simpkin is probably Liddles unlucky track record with injuries - there's always a chance he doesn't make it back, or it takes longer than expected - probably not the sort of thing worth gambling on.
MKing is likely to make more coin this week alone than Simpkin will in the next few weeks - I'm not adverse to an early cash generation booster trade (especially when it gives you a bit more cash to play with, and not many less fantasy points).
TLDR: Yeah, do it
