I'm a fan of the gun wfb trade in, I don't think you'll go wrong with either Teddy or Turbo. Good chance to go a bit against the grain and hopefully grab some ranks. What are you thinking for the 2nd trade? Pretty grim viewing for most of the cheapies right now

Totally agree on the cheapie front. I'm $1k short of Pap to Teddy and Schneider to Meaney (not that I'm confident at all in Meaney but probably the best potential around that price). If I got Turbo instead of Teddy then Schneider can go for anyone up to Sam Walker...but none of them appeal either (Tupou/Walsh/Meaney the closest).
Gonna go back to the drawing board and try some other combos

Dang man, Aitken out is even more annoying than the other two. No idea what to do now. Can probably look at Koula and Lee and see if I want one/both/neither of their scores but seems like blind leading the blind. Might have to pick up Meaney after all

Have just thrown a hail Mary and gone Ponga. Will decide the second trade depending on how Koula goes, but likely Schneider to May

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
What a week. Could have gone any which way coming into the last few games. Ended up at 7906 which was a slight loss. The knee jerk Ponga trade was a bust, but hopefully he can redeem this week cuz I'm stuck with him for the interim. My equally knee jerk McInnes trade turned out better, although still not amazing. Considering everyone is trying to move Schneider this week I'm glad I did it last week.
With all the loops and late outs I ended up taking 3 of my 4 NPRs, which wasn't actually too bad. Pity Taaffe was at 21 since he scored the best but no problem.
Still burning through trades like I have unlimited but it has had to be done. It is definitely making me think twice about what to do this week, as it's getting towards the time where people I trade in will be staying for the season. Which is annoying because I really like Butcher as a trade.. dunno about Peoples though. And I'll probably want Tohu soon. And a decent hooker - which is pushing me towards Robson.
Late post this week, been busy, but any insight greatly appreciated as per.

Ponga Hynes (WSmith)

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
I'm a bit of a pro trade freak myself for reference, but I think trading first and trying to consolidate later is superior to holding them for the perfect time which may never come. A trade like bringing in Robson for example (which I like) that may net you 20 more points this week is invaluable. My 2c anyway, you've definitely got a team that could make a charge during the byes anyway

Thanks for the response bro. Yeah I agree with that sentiment. I traded Randall to Peoples for $, and will sit on the other one till overnight. Definitely thinking Robson though

I like Robson too - feels like a weekly 20+ point upgrade over BSmith with the added bonus of byes

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
Another shocking week. Lost over 1000 ranks, out to 9012 with a score of 825. I can't remember a season where I've had one step forward, two steps back from week to week. Trading in Peoples was up there with my dumbest trades of the season, along with Lolo and Cheese. Topped off by not realising when the Tigers game was and as such being lumped with Tuilagi's rubbish score. Down to 14 trades and I basically have to trade this week with Lolo and Peoples out (I'm not playing all of Koula, Taaffe and Lee if I can avoid it).
Robson was great, as per. But Granville's appearance is annoying. Happy with my mids and edges, it's just inconvenient that Peoples is out. Halves are good (Hastings had an off week), centres are good and Hynes and Ponga were great at the back. WFB3 has been tripping me up, but I am still hoping to stall till after Origin to actually find a "proper" player to stick there.
Do I want another questionable WFB/CTR? Probably not, but Kiraz seems to be at least some safe money if nothing else. All things equal I'd probably actually prefer Savage, but things aren't equal so Kiraz it is. I think it's probably time to part ways with Will Smith considering he is sitting there doing nothing. He has been useful in letting me loop my myriad of nuffies in WFB3 however (last week I should have banked Koula's 25 but punted - wrongly - on Taaffe). Honestly just thinking one trade is the go this week, gonna hold Lolo and run the gauntlet on the wingers. But, second trade I could probably upgrade Tuilagi. I'm $13k off Smith and Tuilagi to Kiraz and Butcher which probably would have been the best I could muster Might have to get Savage anyway solely cuz he's cheap. Bye planning is out the door.

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
Mate for your team I’d be getting Kiraz.
I’d probs look at Tuilagi to Kiraz definitely.
You’ll need a plan to get Tohu too.
Not sure you have the trades to burn and get Savage too. You might be best off hoping that RFM becomes a buy soon too and you could flick someone like Ta’affe to him.
Sorry for the late reply we we moving house in a week been busy with that and work too plus fantasy discord the other fantasy forum thingy I’m in which I love as much as this place.

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
Pretty tired of coming in and typing out how another average week has come and gone, but that's how it went for another round. 828. Out to 9643 rank, trades running super low and not helped making dumb trades like Peoples. Should have known better to be honest! But Robson was understandably tempting at the time and I had to get rid of Randall... then last week I was sick of Taaffe so he became Kiraz, and to try bank some cash I also traded in Molo. Just haven't had time the last couple of weeks to actually plan things out and it's showing.
Current squad - only 9 this week pre-trades
Robson
Haas MKing McInnes
Elliott Fermor
Cleary Hastings
Burton Aitken
Ponga Hynes Kiraz
Koula Lolo BSmith Ipap
Molo Lee WSmith Peoples
Bank: $244k
Rank: 9643
Trades: 12 (4)
Keepers: Ipap, McInnes, Haas, Cleary, Burton, Aitken, Hynes
Probably keepers due to trades/finances: Robson, Hastings, Ponga
Mid-rangers/sub-guns yet to prove themselves as keepers: Lolo, Ming, Fermor, Elliott, Cheese
Just...I don't want to talk about it: Koula, Kiraz, Peoples, Molo, WSmith, Lee
I can get Tohu if I trade Peoples/similar out to Savage, then WSmith to Tohu. Unfortunately I'm just shy of Cheese to Tohu direct ($11k). Also just shy of Cheese to Tohu and WSmith to RFM ($10k). Loathe to use more than 2 trades this week, but will if it sets something up or fixes a major issue that I'm missing.
Time running out, but if you spot anything that might help I'm all ears

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
Didn't smash the ranks as much as I had hoped, but any progress is good progress so I'll take it. Ultimately should have captained Robson, but didn't know Harris was gonna bomb out.
Blew my bank getting Harris but only used 2 trades last week so at least I still have 10, could quite easily have 8. Tempted to chop Hastings for Mam, or one of my bench noobs instead. Don't really see any other obvious trades, clearly Fermor and BSmith probably need to go at some stage but I don't think it's this week.
Not sure who to play at WFB3 this week, honestly feel like Savage is the go over Kiraz due to opposition if nothing else.

Re: StuDogg101 Team Tracker 2022
Went out on a limb last week and traded Fermor to Mam. Wasn't in my initial plans, but seems like a good option for bank if nothing else. And thankfully Mam scored ok (as did Fermor of course).
Rank came down to 6743 so pretty much didn't move. Happy with that considering I ended with a below par 923.
No trades this week, going to wait and see what happens during the rep week. Aitken provides a loop option with Koula hitting the starting team this week. Round 17 is going to be a shocker, but I feel like the same will be true for many teams.
