Considered buying into all those flooded inner Brisbane suburbs at one stage.

My mate bought a house in low lying area inner east bris a couple years ago. It always gets flooded to about knee deep underneath (qld on stilts) whenever there is a lot of rain. When they bought they thought it wouldnt bother them, and they got a good price.

They got sick of it. Sold a couple weeks ago at auction for a very tidy profit. Moved all their gear on Friday. Settlement day was today, as usual in knee deep water lol

Simpkin has an average of 46 in 64 minutes without Liddle on the bench. Would be more comfortable playing him in my 17 than Paix.

Interesting the utilities that were on bench in his appearances are all gone/unavailable (Liddle, Mbye, Walters). Doueihi also unavailable so no chance of Hastings being 14 which might have been a possibility

In regards to weeks vs rounds, almost same now, 1.5 weeks until R1 doesn't make a massive difference (Tigers website has R4-R6 return)

May mean Peachey moves back to bench or even better Simpkin gets 80

Even if he plays and gets reasonable minutes, you need to see a form improvement on last season ..... then his vax exemption expires.

Hasnt been seen in preseason trials and lots of speculation he will be moved from lock. I am passing.

3 days left until I finalise the tribes for NRLFF Survivor. I have enough numbers at the moment but it would be really good to get a few more. There is a few big names from last time I would love to see back and plenty more that haven't played that would make it a lot of fun.

Wouldnt surprise me to see them get an exemption for Rua Ngatikaura to play. He was very lively in the trial after Liddle went down and plays both hooker and lock.

"Ngatikaura was arguably the best player in the Jersey Flegg side throughout 2021. A Wests junior, Rua captained the team, he led by example, driving the team culture on and off the field. Playing a similar role to Melbourne’s Brandon Smith, starting the game at hooker, Rua quite often filled the lock position during matches. He formed combinations with other middle forwards close to the try line, often resulting in points. His attitude was always on display, he worked tirelessly in middle defensively and encouraged those around him to meet the same standards."

Having a very hard time finding a 3rd WFB to put in my team. Not loving any cheapies, no middle prices stick out as underrated, and the top guns are either too expensive or in injury clouds.
