    Yep that's correct.

And to be explicit on SC price changes, its after 3 games for that player, not just 3 NRL rounds. People who missed R1 or R2 won't change price this week. (So you can wait a week on Harry Grant as one example)

Yep, that's what I had read it as - Grant, Munster, Wilton etc won't move in price after this week.

I've probably got a steep learning curve to make strategy-wise, but at least I feel like I have a handle on the basics.

It also seems vaguely seems familiar - like one of the earlier editions of Fantasy was based on 3 rounds of scoring with similar on-field positions? (like 5-10 years ago?)

What is now Sportsdeck/Dreamteam used to be the official platform. Then in 2013 they were ditched for Fanhub which started bringing in the changes in pricing/positions/bench makeup

Supercoach rookie - is Turbo a trade? Clearly his BE is ridiculous, but I don't know if that means anything if I keep holding him. Feel like I chop him now and bank Cleary funds?

The beauty of Supercoach is that at this point you haven't lost a dollar on Turbo.

So you haven't lost a dollar yet, but even if he scores 150 this week he's still going to lose a tonne of cash. Obviously if he scores 150 you don't care, but if he underwhelms again, you're going to lose so much money and probably still want to get rid of him. So as hard as it is, because you buy keepers for a reason, I can't think of any scenario that would see me keep him if I was an owner. You can go to Teddy or Pappy who could score the same or better, and like you say, put that cash towards Cleary.

Totally up to you if you potentially want to use two trades on him, but if it was me, I'd be trading him out. But don't do it on my advice, because then he will score 150 this weekend. Wink

Thanks for your reply bro, I figured it was going to be a similar situation to Sportsdeck so I'm going to treat it like it's that comp and trade him. I'd 100% trade him if he was likely going to lose $100k+ so I'll do the same here. Same applies to Crichton, he's getting the boot too. In comes Hynes and Yeo, with my boost trade going Uto - LThompson.

Yeah, I'd love to bring in Hynes but don't really have the avenue at the moment. I'm about to lose some cash on Crichton, Fifita and even Teddy and Pappy. It's all going to hurt but I'm hoping to hold all throughout the season, injuries (and Turbo?) pending, so I'll ride through it.

Not sure exactly how it all works, but yeah, don't see any way that Turbo won't lose well over $100K.

I'm already using a Booster in Sportsdeck too. Smile

Is anyone playing all 3 formats, SC, VSDT, and NRLF?

Probably a few I reckon, but defo me. I wish I could blame me sucking at all three formats on spreading myself too thin, but I think it has more to do with me being terrible at each format.

I did SC as pure novelty the first time, but have come to really enjoy it over a couple of years. I like all three formats, but Fantasy definitely the most challenging, I find.

I also brought in Hynes, so far so good tonight in the wet. Not sure what to do with Angus? I think I'll regret whatever I do

Really wanted to bring Hynes in, just couldn't do it with my team layout.

I think maybe I should have tried harder. Sad

Hey everyone - first post of the new season in the SC thread.

Is the captain's loop still in play this season - and if so - what to do with Hynes' 115 (my VC) - stick or twist? (Dfifi is my C at the moment)

Yep, it's still in play. Wait for updates but I think most who vc hynes will likely be doing it

I Captained beans which seems good (the first player I've had tonne up in my team).

I was looking at the most traded in players that I don't have, and despite using 3 trades, I've only bought in 1 of the top 6.

Which leads me to the question, are the general masses that play SC any good? Have I become a Matt of SC?

Did many people on here use one of their trade boosts?
