My match-up:

A.Crichton vs Tapine
Munster vs Drinkwater
Tago vs May
Fermor vs Manu
Cook vs Koroisau
M.King vs To'o
Robson vs McInnes

We can both deathride Tapine, McInnes and Drinkwater.

Lots of even matchups now this round that will heavily depend on games like tonight.
Personally would help me if Manly had a shocker, Teddy tonned up and Garrick scored poorly.

My match-ups are:

Teddy vs Tohu
Hughes vs Koroisau
Mahoney vs Papali'i
T May vs DEdwards
Cleary vs Haas
Yeo vs Reyno
Cook vs Burton
Ofa vs Robson
Val vs Manu

Out of that list, probably Manu, Burton and Haas worry me the most but just short of Hughes to Burton and Garner to Haas, so need to think of another option.

So I need to pick 1 to leave out, out of Robson, Ofa, Lane, Crichton, McInnes and Elliott...

Ofa playing really well of late though (not just in fantasy) and might be pumped up against his old team.

We both captained Chin so no harm there. All his POD’s actually have played so now it’s up to my guys.

If Cotter doesn’t play or I’m way behind and need a hail mary, I’ll trade to Robson.

I got really lucky with Cleary. I only took the C off him because i thought my eliminator opponent was going to go with Teddy and i didnt want another big score from Tedesco that would put me behind from the get go. Turns out, my opponent went with Cleary and i got a 37 point advantage by swapping to Teddy. That is just pure luck. Anyway, upshot is im projected to win by over 100 given i have a 166 point lead and have only had 2 extra players play. Still, Im not counting my chickens just yet as ive still got 3 PODs in Cook, Latrell & Haas but as long as they do OK i should advance.

Anyway, just thought id give that example to illustrate how much luck plays a part in this game. Hopefully everyone that went with Cleary as captain get some luck today and tomorrow and can still advance!

Well at least I know how to get DCE now & at least Cleary will be a bit cheaper next year. When I saw a couple of reactions from Cleary before he got sent off he looked rather pissed off for some reason & I actually thought I hope he doesn't do anything silly then boom he's off.

No negatives for penalties, sinbins, or send-offs, is a strange feature of this comp.
