Will be interesting to see how much this changes in next few weeks. Plenty of trades need to happen in plenty of the top teams. You’d suspect that a high % lot of the teams in the top 200 won’t be there in the end, with so many people having less than 4-5 trades

Might be better to forgo Cleary. Again assuming that SJ, AFB and Hynes will all be trades I'd have enough cash to turn those three into maybe something like Murray, Cook, Ponga.

FWIW, I'll have to cancel my Cleary plans mate and I'll go DCE instead.  I know you already have him, but gives me DCE but 3 trades for injuries.  I think in your situation, may be better for the Cook/Murray option.

Problem is if Cleary doesn't fire or actually goes down, you've got a million dollars on your bench with no trades to do anything with him.  It's a big IF but the risk is there.

That's why I threw Ah Mau in there for a bit cheaper. Safe spot, good PPM and probably should see more minutes again.

I think you're right. It means I can keep playing Hynes and keep a trade up might sleeve until the wheels fall off without having to worry as much price changes. The longer I can hold trades the better.

After losing AFB and SJ, my viewpoint kind of changed. I can't afford Cleary with those two trade outs even if he was back this week, so DCE and probably Kobe is it. 3 trades for injuries. 1 maybe for Hynes next week.

These are two different posters but I do like the idea of combining them into one.

Holding Cleary looks like the smartest dumb (or dumbest smart???) decision I have made this season, narrowly beating out not picking up Trbo when Papy was out (and holding Papy for ages to compound it) & picking Roberts over Bird.

Combined with some other dumb moves it stalled my minor recovery circa 16/17 and now has me skyrocketing downwards ( ) .
On the other hand I probably would have spent the cash on shiny stuff that breaks after a few weeks
